Did not have him last year so did not pay much attention to him did he have the majority of kick in duties ? if not with GWS being a couple less in the backline this year all that would be needed is for him to get that job back for him to push back towards that 100 avg.?

Fact - the last time Heater had a season where he averaged under 90 he immediately improved his average 28.6 points for the next year!

Heater has always shown an ability to rebound after a poor season, as he did in 2011 (90.2 average, his lowest since his rookie season in 05, to a 100.8 average) and 2015 (91.8 average, his lowest since 2010, to a 112 average). Age is the biggest risk factor but I'm confident he has a few more years of good scoring left in him, as frenzy mentioned he's been very durable as of late (hasn't missed a game since mid-2014) and is priced at a lower-end premium when he definitely has potential to be top 6 if not the #1 backman in the (SC) game.
As you point out, age is the worry here.  He was in his prime when he bounced back before. Aside from Williams and Wilson he just looked slower, like the pace of the game is getting too much.
It's not so much that he burnt me last year (I started him), as he's scored well before in my team several times.
It's the age factor.

Going cold on Shaw, had him in for ages but I'm now hearing whispers that Deledio & Griffen will be playing the rebounders role whilst Cumming gets up to scratch.

Got a link for this mate? Or is it literally whispers you've heard from actual people haha

Here's another article that mentions Griffen in the rebounding role.

Heater will get 50+ points a week just kicking it to himself after a behind was scored

I've got both Heater and Griff in my side currently, and as long as they look alright in JLT I can't see them moving

Yeah I'm back on the Heater train. At worst he continues averaging 80s and I'll look move him when I can but I think there's more upside than risk.
