Haven't seen a proper comparison of these two yet so I thought I would start a poll to see what the consensus is for these two. Both will play midfield for the Dogs and both have shown they are capable of scoring fairly well in those conditions. I contemplated doing something similar to last year where I did Macrae and Dahlhaus in the forward line.

Dahlhaus was fairly good at the beginning before being banished to the forward line which could be seen as a blessing in disguise as it allowed him to be chosen in the forward for this season. I wouldn't say he burnt me last year as he wasn't too bad and put up some decent scores (Or maybe having Selwood, Lynch and Neale  at the end of the season blinded me to Dahlhaus' poor scores  ::))

McLean when pushed into the midfield later in the season has shown he is fairly capable and with another preseason with the Midfield group could mean he has a breakout season.

The dogs midfield is fairly Supercoach friendly as they do not directly steal points from each other which means that having both could be a viable option for next year. The doggies have a decent bye so having both won't be a problem in terms of bye structures.

Tell me your thoughts.

I have my money on Dahl bouncing back this year he is in his prime at 26 in august Mclean is not a bad pick just think Dahl will out score him but will see what happens in JLT

McLean a real possibility for me at this stage.

Both valid options, don't think I'll start either as I prefer Billings for slightly more, or Barlow for slightly less.

Dahlhaus is not getting midfield minutes, big concern & I'm tempted to cut him from my squad. Last year this crushed his scoring & it's looking like more of the same.

Mclean hasn't left my side, hope he stays under 10% ownerhsio, but doubt it. Today he looks like he's in the midfield rotation with the Bont and Daniel

Pretty torn here. Started with Toby Mac, replaced him with Dahl and now Toby's back in after today's effort reminded my why I picked him in the first place.

^ thinking Devon Smith will replace him who appears to be getting more MID time and $60k cheaper

Dahl looks like he's continuing on from last years dismal effort currently. So probably McLean.

Think I'll pass on both

Had Dahl in my side, and although his score didn't phase me yesterday, the fact that he looks like he'll be playing the same role he did as the second half of last year has turned me off him for now

Bubbles

Neither. Dogs have to many guys that roll through the midfield and Mitch Wallis still has to come back in as well

Have had McLean in my team from day 1. He is one of the only players that hasn't and won't leave my side. I'm more confident that he goes 90-95 than a lot of the fwd options we currently have on offer. Great price, Great role, Lock him in!

Save yourself 170-200k and grab Dunkley instead.
