100% agree ubeaut, and Bombers poor performance had a lot to do with how Neeld was operating. Will see how Hurley goes when he returns, but I like the fact that Ridley is in the team in what he brings in terms of youth and agility. I’ll strongly be considering Hurley after his bye which gives me plenty of time to see how he goes.

Have they indicated whether Hurley is playing this week yet?

n better news for Bombers fans, Michael Hurley is in line to put his hand up for selection after recovering from a hamstring strain.

“Hurls did a really good session on Saturday, we’re happy with how he trained.

“He did a match volume at match speeds, he’ll train fully this week and be expected to be available.”

Ricochet

If he plays this weekend it'll line up perfectly with bringing him in straight after his bye. That 66 will stay in his rolling average for the next 2 games and then bye.

If I bring in Heeney this week then looks like Hurley will be the one to finish off my backline, and i'll pass on the more expensive Webster/Lloyd.

Yep, perfect transition for those still holding Doedee, might only cost 40k.

+1

The exact move I will be doing if Hurley has 2 solid performances.

Webster will come down in price. Could b a handy pick up after his bye

Shannon Hurn?
Yeah mate.
Played well tonight and is just posting good numbers every week.
Finlayson and Mirra may become Yeo and Hurn in mine.

SilverLion

Might go Hurn or Jonas and hold off on Macrae until he drops a bit in price. Still would have to field one of Billings/Smith at F6 though :(

frenzy

Simmo under 500k with two weeks to get the job done and bring him in.    :)

smashbox

Lever injury will hopefully be good for Hibberd to allow him to return to the intercept role he was so good at last year

Definitely a viable prospect, especially with so much uncertainty with the forwards. Sicily back to the forward line looking likely for me.

I'm eyeing off Hurley. Will drop below 450k next week, and then can go Doedee > Hurley in round 14 for free.
He's played 9 games, had a 77 vs Richmond where he looked rusty coming back from injury and got done by 12 goals, had a 66 in an injury affected game, and the rest have been 84+, with 6 tons.

That's a bargain for 450k.

Lever went down early and Hibbo still only scored 63 - would need to see a complete turn around.

He won't be $450k but I agree.  Runs on the board @ sub $500k is good value.
