Heater comes back into the equation, no Finlayson & no Cumming.
Surely at least Finlayson comes back in after a loss though?
Probably just needed a rest.

Finlayson has been playing poorly, may come back but no guarantees.

Gees I hope your right. Somewhat frustrated Shaw owner here.

Despite the frustration (I also have him) he's averaged 93 & for his starting price you can't ask for much more.

True. I am just hoping he can claw back into top 6 contention, as currently he is my only premium that is looking off the standard.

A long stint in the NEAFL for Finlayson would be a godsend.

Heater back in contention, but he’s just not a fun pick anymore haha.

Give me a Ryan type and enjoy having a POD

batt

Thought when I picked Ryan in R4 that he'd stay a big POD because of the R14 bye.  Evidently people aren't too worried about it in their back lines.

PODs are overrated IMO.

Like it was nice having Shaw's 149, but it was just cancelled out by popular pick Simpson scoring 140 who I don't have.

Just aim for the best.

Angus Brayshaw?

Averaged 101 since moving to the midfield

Probably better options out there though

Webster has to be considered. It's between him Hurn and Hurley for my last defender spot
See, I don't think I could not choose Hurley, especially considering he'll drop in price a bit once he returns.
With you on this.   Looking closely at Hurn,  possibly Webster,  maybe Jonas or Hurley.   Even as a bomber supporter not keen on Hurley.  Cannot spell out why,  think i want to see him be a more stay at home defender and not the intercept king.

Yeah it will be interesting to see what happens once Hurley returns. Essendon were heavily criticised in the media for playing 2 loose defenders (Goddard & Hurley), as it didn't seem to be working and was leaving them exposed down back.

Essendon have just happened to turn their season around with Hurley out of the side, so the question is whether they persist with playing Hurley in this maligned but supercoach-friendly role once he returns.

Im really thibking webster after his bye. But then too many good ganes and his price could b huge. But a coupme of shower games might throw me off

Bombers have played numerous great winning games with Hurley playing this role and made finals.
There are so many other reasons why we sucked. Lack of pressure especially fwd, low tackle numbers, not playing Stringer where he belongs, Danihers lack of confidence and form, just overall lack of effort and team cohesion.
Hurley was one of the few along with Dev Smith that turned up every week. With Hooker back I see Hurley continuing what he does best.

Yeah well I am really keen on Hurley, so fingers crossed you're right :)

Hurley's consistency is a huge plus, will be between him & Simmo for my last defensive spot.

Same here. Just brought in Ryan and am happy with him.

Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Howe, Ryan, Doedee.

Doedee will be a nice 400k+ in another week or two. Also have Sicily forward so may swap Doedee to a forward and just call that backline finished

100% agree ubeaut, and Bombers poor performance had a lot to do with how Neeld was operating. Will see how Hurley goes when he returns, but I like the fact that Ridley is in the team in what he brings in terms of youth and agility. I’ll strongly be considering Hurley after his bye which gives me plenty of time to see how he goes.
