Don't think there will be too much of a change this season with defenders.

I'm surprised that Ellis isn't in more teams to be honest. Could go 100+ this season in my opinion with him heading into his prime.

Can see Yeo slightly dropping due to a change in role. He scores better off HB, and can see him getting more midfield minutes. Of course this is just me guessing ;D

Top defenders typically change a lot from season to season since the days of Lids & Goddard.

One or more of McGrath,Maynard,Sicily,Burton,Brayshaw,Witherdin,McDonald are likely to crack a top 10 spot. GL picking the right one.

I like Shaw's chances of bouncing back a fair bit.
Laird stands out as a premo R14 bye backmen but he will get more attention.

Howe likely to have a solid under the radar season and make top8 for overall points.

One thing i am certain of is that i won't be spending big down back, ruined my season last year.
Probs 2 prems, a fallen premo, and a speculative that can be traded to a bolter if he spuds, flexibility is key.

Because most defenders are around 90-100 with little deviation (Docherty excepted, cos in a weak team), you really don’t need to spend big to be ‘in the mix’. As season progresses, you can trade in the higher scorer (Hurley, Savage 2017) or the Docherty type if you didn’t have him
