Anyone think he can get back to his best in 2018?
Incredibly frustrating year in 2017 but it's not as if it can't be a quick fix to get him up above 110 again.
Despite only averaging 101 for the year he still had 16/21 games at 90+ and very rarely has a really poor game.

Has a clear midfield roll, rarely misses games and has a great bye. Only $557,600
Thoughts?

Hah had him all year last year, no thank you. Beams and Cripps worth considering for similar prices, possibly Jelwood too.

Edit: Typo

Honestly would rather Pendles he has more poise and class Treloar can butcher it a fair bit plus they need to start winning more games and not sure that is going to happen under Buck's and his shower game plan but if they manage to play better can always get him in later

2 injury prone guys and a guy with a bad bye though ;)

I imagine the ones put off the most will be the ones that carried him last year haha

Yeah I just worry that Pendles can get put in different positions at times where as Treloar is always solid for 25-35 possessions. Could be a SC beast f he cleaned his ball use up a bit

True hah. Just can't see Treloar finishing as a top 10-15 mid like people would want at his price. I can potentially see it for the other 3.

Exactly he can get mega possessions and score crap where Pendles very rarely puts a foot wrong doubt I will start either first time without Pendles for me but the Pies seem to be going no where under Buckley just wait and see upgrade possibilities if the club can get it's act together

Would you be considering Adams again this year by chance? He was incredibly consistent last year and has the potential to improve again.

Can't say I've thought about Adams. More than likely won't start any but just feel that Treloar could return to his form from the year before. Probably better to wait and see as he's not cheap enough to warrant rolling the dice on

I had him all last year. Holy moley was it a frustrating year...

In saying that, there were a couple of times throughout the year that had me think "he'll kick a bag of 6+ goals one day".

I am super tempted.

Will he still butcher the ball? Probably. Will he butcher the ball less? Hopefully.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...?

I didn't have him but I was certainly nervous any time I came up against someone with him in their side.
Probably best to wait and see on him but the temptation is there

Loads better options than Treloar for mine.
That said he will have games where he smashes it.
As has already been said his ball use is what holds him back in many games and he leaves his owners frustrated with a lot of disappointing scores. Pendlebury is cheaper than ever and if you feel compelled to get a  Collingwood mid then he’s the best bet.
Cripps and Beams though appeal to me the most of those around the mid 500k range.

Had him last season too and ended up trading him to Pendles, who promptly got injured. Good waste of trade. Prefer to have Adams, with better tackle count, better use of ball, just doesn’t score as often. Hoping Cripps can score more often to justify his keeper position

Money Shot

Had him last year and that was enough to make me not even consider him this year.

In saying that although he won't be a top 5 midfielder he could squeeze into the top 10 if he can learn to kick the ball straight.

Collingwood won't be winning much games means they will have less of the 3300 points to share and with Pendles, Adams and Howe all getting a fair chunk of the points I can't see Trealor being a great pick.

As said above I would just go with the crowd and take Cripps if you are looking for a cheaper premium.

Hanners and Parker would have a better chance at going 110+ for cheaper this season as well I would think.

Yeah the sydney mids are all interesting options this year.
