Personally think he is a top 10 midfielder and not a bad pick at all this season.

Danger, Dusty, Titch and Fyfe all 120+ candidates.

Kelly, Zorko, Crouch, Sloane, Merrett, Bont all 110+ candidates.

Obviously a heap of other 110+ candidates but those 6 are most likely imo.

Merrett would be my 6th picked premium midifeilder. Only reason he is not in my team is I have started my predicited top 5 midfielders come seasons end and I have him coming 6-10th.

Who do you have at number 5 out of interest?

Money Shot

Danger
Fyfe
Mitchell
Martin
Kelly
Merrett/Crouch

is my top 6/7 can't really split Crouch and Merrett. Only thing I like about Merrett is he has a better bye.

Post JLT team. Obviously assuming Danger will miss round 1-2 so I have $157,000 ready to change Merrett to Danger if he plays.

If Danger doesn't play I would like to look at spending the money to upgrade Christensen to someone better. Haven't been convinced by him at all.

What are your thoughts?

I like the look of this team, but a few potential risks that I personally wouldn't take. Fogarty at F5 screams risk, as even though he killed it in JLT yesterday, the real thing is gonna be different. Saw Lachlan Murphy do the same thing in JLT 1 as Fogarty did yesterday, plus Fogarty did that without Tex in the team. In JLT 1, Fogarty got 1 disposal in about 40% gametime. Would be more inclined to stack up a bit in the forward line so you only have to field one rookie.

I agree on Bundy in that he hasn't been looking like the 80+ cash cow that we've been hoping for, but I'm happy to keep him at this stage. He should get a game, and given reports that he flew through the preseason and intraclub matches, I'm willing to look over a couple of bad performances cos of the chance he gets going in the real season. I mean, after a year out of the game, who wouldn't come back a bit rusty? If he starts pumping out 80s and makes 200K then I don't want to miss out. So personally I'd keep him, but the decision to get rid of him has its merits too. Comes down to your personal opinion I guess, and who you'd replace him with.

The Danger question is the million dollar question, and has thrown all teams into disarray. Saw him destroy Hawthorn on one leg last year, and this one barely looked like anything anyway. Geelong won't take risks with him, but given he only pulled up short, I reckon he'd be very likely to play R2, if not R1. Very wise to keep that 150K in store, and keep your ears to the ground for the next few days.

Other than that, great team. You're going six deep in the mids, and Brayshaw is looking like the pick of the expensive rooks with his cleanliness and pressure around the ball. Three rooks on the field in the backline is becoming a common sight, and it might just work this year. Why not load up on the rookies back there and reap the rewards.

Nice team Quinny. Is Sicily a strong enough D3 is a question. However can see the reason behind with the number of defensive rookies available.

I too was disappointed with Bundy's performance and starting to cool. Am watching Tom Bell for only 20k more as he is making it hard to be ignored for Rd 1.  Others considering around the same price are Dunkley from Dogs, and Brown from Pies but just concerned about JS, 2 solid JLT games but with Fasolo and Elliott to return he could be the one to make way as a small forward.

Like the expensive rookies as you can downgrade if need be to make more cash.

Good team to sit on,

Thanks for the feedback guys.

One thing I could do with the cash is downgrade Merrett to Libba or Omeara and upgrade Fogarty to a mid pricer. Just not seeing anyone jumping out at me though. Maybe Lobb if he gets up for round 1.

I agree with you on Bell, Ringo. He's looked in great form

Best 22 has been posted by Michael Whiting and Bell not included but I would have hime ahead of Bastinac or Nick Robertson.

Actually if Nick Robertson continues to be named starting to get interested in Robbo as Nick may be used in that run with/tagging role.
