Haha - Will do probably next week - trying my usual method with DT put together a team in 10 minutes and only look at it periodically before Rd 1 with very little research unlike SC.

Got some of dearest ones and can downgrade Crisp if need be.
time for a jlt update ringo.      would appreciate a few wise words on your choices as well mate.

agreed.

can you check out my Team, any advice is welcome.

Thanks

Ringo

Pre JLT Team with 60k left.

Just put it together quickly again as not spending a lot of time on DT this year due to the poor returns.

Gone with a lot of expensive rookies as well so as to downgrade and maybe strengthen other areas. Defence is weak are playing 3 rookies

Outside the square with rucks as going with Smith as with the midfield around him now he may increase scoring.

Have options for C and VC,  Going Zorko over Beams at the moment.

Very nice. i like it a lot.
as you said slightly weak in DEF but you've made up for it with the extremely strong mids.
Expensive rookies are easier to downgrade than to ruin your structure for cash.

With not a lot of emphasis on RDT this year put together this team with Lycett as R2 and a R/F link to Cox. Realise Cox only played against kids today but could be handy if he continues in Pies team. Pricerd at 60 so a small price rise may be possible if he averages 75.

Do not mind the look of this team.  May even translate this across to SC team if I have the gonads.

Ringo

After the brief flirtation with Lycett this is my sitting team prior to team announcements

Martin in forwards may raise eyebrows but really think he can step up this year and take next steps. If proved wrong will have to do a corrective trade,

Mat0369

I can understand the Martin pick and he is at a price that he is easy enough to sideways trade early. Would probably go with only one of Arma/Graham. Also wouldn't want Dow on the field. I'm a huge fan of the rest of the midfield.

Yeah I can definitely see the logic in the Martin pick. Slated for a full-time midfield role & new coach, could definitely be a master-stroke.

Graham I'm also not sure about, despite Nige having a hard-on for him. :P

Just updated Rd 1 Team do not see any changes here unless a couple of rookies not named later today but indications are all will play.

Gone Bell over Bundy here as I reckon he will be used in mids as a big body in the absence of beastmode and Rocky.

Graham and Garlett nice picks to start.

Gone Coffield up to Bonner.

Will be going Zorko into Titch for VC Loophole.

Mr.Craig

Well it's different I'll give you that. Don't mind it.

Ringo

2045 so not off to a good start.

Merrett injured, Zorko, McLean underperforming. Doedee and Holman bench did not help. Shouyld have stuck with Bundy over Bell.

Do not like trading Rd 2 but may be forced when know the extent of Merrets injury and Bell could well be dropped.

Ringo

Rd 2 Team

I trade Bell to Bundy

Rd 2 Score 2114 Overall Rank 3268

Not sure on trades this week.  Do I give Merrett another week?  Graham not scoring well but has a low B/e so may keep him for another week.

Paddy Dow my only rookie with a positive B/e so do I go down to Fogarty Geelong for another 85k cash grab or leave him.

Banfield scored better than Fogarty and looks to have decent JS in a rebuilding side.

When the likes of Duncan and Scooter return for the cats I can see Fog making way.

I'd hold Zerrett. Like the rest of the Essendon team he played like shower. We have the Bulldogs this week who right now probably are the worst team in the comp - we might make them look like premiers next week at Etihad but I suspect Zerrett will bounce back.

Ringo

Thanks AK Did not realise did not have Banfield and he is the better option. May do Brayshaw to Banfield although both predicted to rise in cash this week  Banfield 58k and Brayshaw 30k.

nas

Would hold Zerrett.  Graham is of concern, down to Banfield for cash grab?
