Def: Yeo, Laird, Hurly, S Murray, T Doedee, R Gardiner. Bench. L Keeffe, H Goddard.

Mids: Danger, Dusty, T Mitchell, Fyfe, Bont, C Rayner, LDU, Higgins. Bench. N Freeman, T kelly, N Holman

Rucks: Gawn. Nic Nat, Bench. English.

Forwards: Heeney, Billings, Lobb, A Christensen, Bennel, B Ah Chee, Bench. P Naish, L Ryan.

Thank u for your feedback..
Made a few changes which I recon has improved balance. Brought Rayner in for Coniglio to free up some cash and strengthen defence with Hurley for Birchall. And Lobb for Buddy allowed to bring in B Ah Chee for Rioli.. Still plenty of work to do.
Please rate this latest team. :)

Hi mate, really like your team except for the FWD line, where I think you've gone a bit too hard on the mid-pricers.  It could work, but I'd rather downgrade one of them to a rookie then upgrade Lobb to a proven premium FWD.  That's my opinion, best of luck mate!
Thanks Peter and DCAK.. thinking a little risk for reward at this stage. F3-F6 is a bit of a gamble. Looking forward to JLT to get a little more settled.. Cheers

I'd try to keep Lobb in there. Should fire as the GWS #1 ruck. Obviously have a good look in the JLT, but wouldn't be surprised to see him push a 95 avg. Bundy, Bennell, and Ah Chee obviously the bigger risks. See how their fitness is looking over the next few months (Bundy and Bennell), as well as where each one looks like playing this season (mainly Ah Chee).

Def: Yeo, Laird, Hurly, E Richards, S Murray, T Doedee. Bench. L Keeffe, H Goddard.

Mids: Danger, Dusty, T Mitchell, Fyfe, J Kelly, C Rayner, LDU, Higgins. Bench. N Freeman, T kelly, N Holman

Rucks: Gawn. Nic Nat, Bench. English.

Forwards: Heeney, Billings, Lobb,T Papley, J Stephenson, D Clarke, Bench. P Naish, L Ryan.

Thanks for advice GL, agree in keeping Lobb if is GWS 1st ruck. Took out the risky option of F4-F6 to bring in Papley and two solid rookies. Can revert back if those mid priced forwards fire in the JLT. And still $46k in the bank.
Dropped Bont for now and with extra cash brought in Kelly.. team seems better balanced.
Thoughts?

Like the team a lot. My only concern is 5 defenders under 140k playing and scoring well enough to be worth the risk. In saying that all the ones you have seem to be a decent chance and Alex Morgan from North might get a game early as well.

Apart from that it is a good side with some nice pods in the mix.

Cheers MS, was wanting to uprade to O'Shea, do you think he'll be a regular with the Blues this year? Think u mentioned in earlier post, he wasn't in Blues best 22..

I have seen him in a lot of teams this year and I don't really understand why. Byrne is highly rated by the blues so if he is fit I would put him in front of O'shea to take Docherty's role and I think Mullet is in front of him as well.

Plowman, Jones, Weitering
Simpson, Marchbank, Mullet (Byrne)

Would be my back 7 at this stage.

Williamson and O'brien would be in the mix as well.

Thanks again.. will sit on current team for now and keep a close eye on the young blue defenders in the JLT. Cheers

Read somewhere Morgan was taking the kickins before Xmas, so he could be a chance for some games

Def: Yeo, Laird, Hurly, E Richards, S Murray, T Doedee. Bench. L Keeffe, A Johnson.

Mids: Danger, Dusty, T Mitchell, Fyfe, GAJ, A Bonar, LDU, Higgins. Bench. N Freeman, T kelly, N Holman

Rucks: Gawn. Nic Nat, Bench. English.

Forwards: Heeney, Billings, R Gray, Lobb, J Stephenson, T Smith, Bench. P Naish, L Ryan.

Couple of changes, obvious is GAJ for Kelly and Gray for Papley. Agree with Sabretooh's post a few days ago re Ablet. Have picked a lot worse risk/reward picks over the years, but if healthy recon he's a must at least till bye rounds. Very little in the bank.
Thoughts..

Would like your thoughts on Bonar. Is he a place holder for someone in that price range or do you see him breaking out?

GAJ is too much of a risk in supercoach for me personally. He will no doubt get rested or injured and if it happens early you will have to carry a rookies score for a week or two or waste a trade. In AFL Fantasy I am considering taking the risk due to the fact that you get 2 trades each and every week but due to the fact that there is a cap on trades in supercoach I don't think he is worth the risk.

Gray I don't really like either. Has an early bye and there are question marks over his fitness returning from cancer as well as him potentially playing as a deep forward which would effect his scoring. He is a wait and see for me along with Barlow and Wingard.

To be honest I like your team prior to this better.

Peter

It appears Yeo is struggling, so that may provide you with some extra cash to improve the team

Would you like to clarify on that?

Is that the article saying he may not be ready for AFLX ?

Peter

Story is on AFL website

Thanks MS. Looking at it further I agree. Cheers.
