Here goes for the first Real Dream Team on FF:

Backs - (Keepers) Laird, Hibberd, Brayshaw (Placeholders) Naughton, Doedee, Morgan, O'Shea, Cumming
Mids - (Keepers) Mitchell, Danger, Martin, Treloar, Cripps, (Placeholders) Dow, LDU, TKelly, ABrayshaw, Ahern, Worpel
Rucks - Kreuzer, Gawn, Jones
Forwards - (Keepers) Barlow, Billings, Heeney, Robinson, (Midrange) Ah Chee, Bennell, (Placeholders) Venables, Ryan

Gone stronger on the forwards as known ability and spent money on rookies that should play R1

Your thoughts?

Peter

Forgot to add - Cash left over $61,300 and Premium byes 1,3,5,5

Peter

In view of Laird’s lack of points towards the end of the season and Docherty’s injury, switching to Simpson, which helps with bye structure also. Now leaves $64,000 and premium byes 1,4,5,4.

Anyone doing their RDT yet?

Is there any team-picker/player prices available for it yet?

Ringo

If you have assistant coach you can pick now.

Will probably do my first DT later this wek.

Peter

Ringo is the benchmark, so look forward to it

Sweet Chilli

Strong team. Good premiums, who should be set and forget for the season.

Peter

Some minor changes, to bring in some POD’s

Savage and Simpson for Laird and Hibberd, in view of Saints early draw and loss of Docherty
Adams for Treloar, in view of Adams tackle count
McLean for Robinson, in view of Bulldogs easier initial draw, Christensen for Ah Chee, as equally anle to score the same points but cheaper

Still very strong in forwards

Your thoughts?

Peter

My final team for 2017, for the 2018 season

Backs - Simpson, Savage, Brayshaw, Naughton, Doedee, Morgan, Cumming, O’Keefe
Mids - Mitchell, Danger, Adams, Martin, Cripps, Coniglio, Dow, Ldu, Kelly, Brayshaw, Warpel
Rucks - Kruezer, Gawn, Jones
Forwards - Billings, Heeney, McLean, Christensen, Bennell, Setterfield, Ryan, Rioli

That will do until JLT

Peter

Version 3

Backs - Simpson, Lloyd, McDonald, O’Shea, Doedee, Morgan, Keefe, Cumming
Mids - Mitchell, Danger, Martin, Macrae, Cripps, O’Meara, LDU, Brayshaw, Dow, Kelly, Worpel
Rucks - Kruezer, Gawn, Jones
Forwards - Billings, Heeney, McLean, Christensen, Bennell, Partington, Venables, Ryan

Cash left $2k

Changes - Macrae in for Adams due to Bulldogs favourable initial draw and POD
Lloyd and McDonald for Savage and Brayshaw as imo they are more RDT-type players

Now see if I can hold this team to JLT

GoLions

Is that Luke McDonald? If so, i like the pick. Team looks pretty good. I always feel weird picking guys like Macrae right after they've lost DPP, but he was a machine and don't see why he can't back up 2017.

Peter

Yes it is Luke McDonald. Martin was DPP in 2016 from memory and went to mids only last season and had a reasonable year - hopefully Macrae will keep his record up

Peter

Some further changes following further research:

Laird and Hibberd for Simpson and McDonald. I just think these two will go 1/2 in RDT in 2018
Treloar and Coniglio for Martin and Macrae - I am convinced Martin is overpriced now ans Coniglio will score as much as Macrae
Ah Chee for Bennell and I believe Setterfield will play

Leaves $100 - a little tight, but have brought in Rayner, so have picks 1,2,3,4 and Kelly, who should all play, but if not, have plenty of room to move

can you check out my Team, any advice is welcome.

Thanks

The final team for Round 1 - in the commotion of last minute changes and the general lack of defensive rookies, went with:ZGuthrie to replace Keefe. The squad is:

Hibberd, Lloyd, Savage (refused to pay the big dollars here), Naughton, Murray, Finlayson, ZGuthrie, Doedee
Mitchell, Treloar (cheaper than Zorko and Kelly for same points), Parker (due to JLT form and now fit), Cripps, Fyfe, Coniglio, O’Meara, Brayshaw, Kelly, Banfield, Holman
Kruezer (paid the big dollars as a POD, Gawn, Olanga (for loophole)
Billings, Heeney, McLean, Smith, (dropped Sicily due to his free kick against mania), Fritsch, Langdon, Venables, Waterman

A solid enough group to start with and $3,800 left over
