Averaged a whopping 33 touches per match last year (equal 2nd with Mouch). Coach says he'll play mostly midfield. Are you going to write him off? The real GOAT has plenty left in the tank.

If you're referring to GAJ, it'd take a lot of guts to start him, wouldn't recommend it, but if anyone is considering it, I wouldn't talk them out of it either.

Problem with GAJ is starting price.  Min upside benefit for all downside risk.  At 550k lot of coaches would have GAJ in their teams.

I see him being capable of average 120+ from the start of season.  A lot of coaches upgrade into him at the byes then him getting injured again.   Will wait and see what happens during the season.  Hopefully I stick to my guns and stay away from him after he pumps out 3 consecutive 150's!  :D

Of course if he gets injured early in the season money blown, trade blown.

Money Shot

As said a lot more downside than upside.

But in saying that he is the GOAT (until Cripps takes that throne) so he could start the season with an average of 200.

Holz

There was a need to take the risk when there wasnt another prema option.

Danger coming off back to back 130+ seasons is enough for me.

His age and the byes means can't start him but if he can stay on the park think he will be right up there with scoring

I am seriously seriously considering after seeing that.

But I know he'll only play like 16-20 games so is it really worth it? Probably not

Don’t need him Danger, Dusty and Fyfe can do the same thing with younger and more trustworthy bodies.

200+ Games in 2017:

God = 1

Danger, Fyfe, Dusty combined = 0

Conclusion: 3 spuds does not equal one God.

The days of the Ablett/Pendles combo headlining my midfield every year are done sadly.
Onto Danger/Dusty for me

Danger only got 196 and the other two got nowhere near 200 with only multiple 140-160+s so I must bow to your great trolling. You have me beat.

Agree with quinny - you have to move on from Ablett and Pendles over 22 games

Could this be his last season ?  Would he want to retire after a shortened ordinary season ??  Is he training the house down at Geelong in an effort to reclaim his best form  ??  Will he attract less attention from opposition teams whilst surrounded by players such as Dangerfield and Selwood ??  Will he get the protection from team players at Geelong that was painfully absent at Gold Coast ?? Is he one of the four greatest players of all time ??  Hopefully he isn't in too many teams.
