Lots of reasons to like him.
For me, maybe post byes...sharing R14 with Danger, Dusty, Fyfe and MCrouch. I want to start the first 3 and Jelly becomes overkill.

Selwood is a proven gun a little bit to brave for his own good but can't start him this year with the bye setup as said but post byes and injury free is a big chance for me

Jelwood and Pendles have been SC staples for me for as long as I can remember - always start them every year for years

This might be the passing of the torch year though, as I think the youngsters coming through might be better picks now

I've always started Pendles and ended up with Jelly if I didn't start him but this year I prefer all of: Kelly, MCrouch, Cripps, Bont and Oliver to those old farts. :)

pendles will be starting for bombers rules nz.    jelwood a possible upgrade option. 
mind you would be happy to start the five named with danger.

He's great value but the bye is a bit off putting. He does have some bad patches every year anyway so should be able to still get him at a good price at some stage

Now I'm not quite expecting Saints Footy, but I can see the Cats trio lifting and dragging their team over the line many times in 2018. Duncan had an exceptional year but he's not on their level. The 3 guns can all go 115+ and Duncan, MeneGOAT and Tuohy can still go 95+ up to as much as 105 for Duncan.

Personally I will be selecting the son of God over Selwood, but I might grab both. I'm let Danger slide for the time being.

Looking at those stats make Menegola look like a viable option.

Danger, Jelwood, Ablett and Duncan are the first tier of point scoring.

Tuohy - Menegola - Blicavs - S. Selwood - Guthrie on the second tier.

Looking at that I don't see any reason why Menegola wouldn't score below 90 but in saying that I think I would prefer to wait and see.

Just can't see him being a top 10 mid with 3 other Cats players all likely to be. At that price, you're looking for someone whose going to be pushing for top 10.
