It's really rare that a tagger can stop an opponent and win the ball and hurt them. The last guy I can think of was Carrots.
Call it north bias, but pre injury Ben Jacobs was pretty damaging as a tagger

Really?  :o Jacobs was a good tagged but I wouldn't say he hurt teams the other way

enzedder

Still considering Lobb. If he doesn't line up or I just don't start him I'll have D Smith at F3.
Christensen will be my D4.

Jacobs was in the Crowley category. Guys like Caff and Raines also go into that one. Can stop a player in his tracks but aren't going to win the ball or hurt you offensively

Barlow had a couple of games where he stopped his opponent and racked up a lot of the ball, didn't do it for a long period of time though

Holz

Devon Smith seemed to be talked about heaps over the preseason and now i havent heard much on him. Have people gone away from him with guys like Sicily Billings Bell taking favour?

83 and 118 in the JLT was pretty good.

I have him just because i needed the cash from Heeney to Smith.

Toga

I think Smith is a really good option. Has barely left my team all preseason.

Ricochet

I didn't have Smith but he looks to be getting good opportunities inside, and I Stringer will be the one to get less and less minutes in there imo.

That's the guy I was thinking of but the name slipped my memory.

There was someone else as well that they were using as a 'tagger' but he mainly would run off and hurt guys like Gaz the other way since he doesn't have a defensive bone in his body.

I've got Heeney, Smith, Dahl, Bell as my 4 forwards. Only other player I'm looking at is Tom Lynch from the Crows.

Who's going Cyril if he plays round 1? I'm so tempted to get him in

Cookie Monster

I'm going value, full value. Stacking the mids and going with Walters, Smith and Petracca as my top 3.

I'll probably get hate for not picking Heeney but i've had issues with him in the past!

I'm keen, just looking for an extra 50k to upgrade Bundy. I figure if Cyril is locked it's much easier to trade down if a correction trade is required. Cyril also a much better chance to become a keeper.

My fwds atm are Heeney, Billings, Smith, Lobb, C.Rioli, Fritsch. Reckon Rioli can get back to his best, now that the family problems seem to be all good now.

If Lobb and Rioli don't play Rnd 1... Well I'll get to that if/when the time comes.

Wow that's alot of money wrapped up in the fwd line. I'm trying ways to run Heeney,Billings,Smith,Walters,Bundy for similar cost but it leaves other lines  compromised
