Regarding Lobb, I had him in my first few drafts but took him out due to the lingering groin issue.

Those who have him and if he actually gets named round 1, will you still start with him if Simpson is also named round 1?

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm taking Tabs as my F4 and super POD.

Come round 1 lockout, I bet you don't.

Oh I'm pretty certain this guy is going to make me some cash...whether or not he scores the way I think he might is yet to be determined.  Only way I will drop him at this stage is if I need a bit of cash and then I'll downgrade him to someone else.

What's the deal with Blake Acres. I have watched maybe 2 games of footy all pre-season. I noticed him rack up the pill in the middle last night and is forward eligible?

Has all the assets to be a premier wingman imo. Good tank, good kick, looks to have added some size so he can win some more of his own ball. I dont mind him as a forward, probably not in the salary cap formats but I imagine he could lift his average to mid-to-high 80s if he gets a good run through the middle.

Another Saints forward, Jade Gresham. Absolute magnet as a junior but has been played as a small forward at AFL level. Would take massive nurries to start him in SC as he's probably back in the midfield rotation a fair way but he's had an impressive JLT with scores of 86 and 70 in two St Kilda losses kicking 1 goal 2 in both games (18 and 22 possessions respectively).

Here's one from way out in left field, but how about Mark Hutchings? Coming off a pretty average season last year, he's 282k with the MID/FWD eligibility.

JLT1 scored 79 from 43% game time, and 71 from 79% in JLT2. Didn't seem to be tagging either.

There's definitely opportunities in the Eagles midfield to get some significant playing time in there, and their draw isn't too bad for the first 5-6 rounds.. Thinking of an alternative to Bundy to make some early cash to bring Danger in.

Definitely has the ability, but no idea how Simmo will use him is the problem.

Callum Brown anyone? Scored a solid 75 in second JLT and his speed and fitness look a lot better than last year.

frenzy

I am a big fan of George Hewett, think he could be set for a big year.

Bully

Cyril good to go round 1, tempted as a Bundy alternative.

My issue with taggers is they play a loose brand of football in the pre-season but when the real stuff comes around they go into those lockdown roles and it hurts their scoring.

I was actually looking at him the other day, hes the sort of play I that i have been waiting to breakout, but has reached the height i have hoped. Interesting enough his highest averaging year was his first year with 89 from 9 games (2013), however since then has averaged around the 72 mark and 52 from 17 games last year and only 2 scores over 69

It's really rare that a tagger can stop an opponent and win the ball and hurt them. The last guy I can think of was Carrots.

Scooter Selwood? Prestia?

No, please no.

Actually if you do he will still be a good POD for me too.

Scooter was never really a lock down guy. He was normally doing one or the other anyway. Wouldn't classify Prestia a tagger either. I'm talking a guy that could hold a prime Pendles to 15 touches while racking up 30 of his own. Brett Kirk and Ling were also similar taggers. Maybe KJack is another when he was playing that role. Most taggers were either able to shut down a guy (Crowley) or run off them and hurt them the other way.

Rusty00

Kane Cornes is another, although his 15m chip kicks didn't exactly hurt the opposition the other way :P
