I have just looked into Ah Chee more as so many guys on this site seem to be keen on him. Looking at him has turned me off however. I know he is going to get more midfield time which means more points but ....

He has an average of 74.19 from 16 wins which is actually a pretty good return for a 250k player
but
He has an average of 44.09 from 11 lossess which is shocking. His highest score in a loss is 71.

That is enough to turn me off considering the eagles won't be winning as many games as port has in previous seasons and even if he does play midfield I can't trust him enough to start him.

I am open to being convinced however.

Can see him being this year's WHE. Has the potential to average 75+, just unsure if he can make enough cash at his starting price to justify the selection. Prefer Christensen at a similar price as he is more likely (IMO) to become a keeper.

It just comes down to if he is in the midfield or not.

I don't have any stats to back this up just trends I anecdotally have but I would say that if your in the forward line you will always score alot better in wins then in losses. However if your in the midfield the ball should be there alot whether you are winning or losing as you move around with the ball.

If he has a spot locked in the eagles midfield then he will be locked in my team. That is the only thing to worry about.

Bennell was filmed being thrown out of a nightclub on Sunday night and did not show up to training on Monday morning.

How can one person be so stupid.

Fair enough. He has shown that he can score well enough to average 80 or so but at this stage I am going with Christensen who has averaged 85+ before at the lions.

I would rather risk injury than hoping for a position change.

Peter

Ah Chee to replace him, it looks like

Don't see Crameri doing that shower.

After last year's rookie scores, very bullish on the mid-pricers. I have Lobb, Christensen and Rioli atm, with Ah Chee in the midfield. Bennell on standby depending on what happens after this nightclub situation.

Crameri will be lucky to get half a dozen games and will either retire during the year or be delisted at the end of it

Peter

Crameri is a rookie, I think, so would need to be upgraded to main list for an injured player? So very unlikely to get many games?

Crameri is not SC relevant.   better options in Ah Chee, Cristensen.

Why are people even talking about Crameri for haha.
He wouldn't be value at 102k... list clogger.  :)

could not stand him when he was with the bombers.   Think he provided decent service at the dogs but not for Fantasy.

My point is that even as bad as Stu is, he's a better pick than Harley! And Bennell has just gone and proven it. He looked shower last year and wouldn't have scored well, and he is a HUGE injury risk, and a HUGE White Goodman on top of that.

P.s. any rookie can play in round 1 this year. Rules have been tinkered.

Talk on other sites is that he just couldn't get over Wines or Ebert for a mid spot.
Those scores of his mean nothing as the dreaded vest affected many of his scores and the positions they played him.

Word is in the games he had a un-vested run playing midfield his average was like 96, he can score when played
as an inside mid, i haven't done this research myself, only what i have been reading so take it how you want.

I have him as a watch in jlt, a tad cheaper than birch with probably 10 points extra upside is worth a look.
