Bennell has the potential to be a real top liner and Ross has never shown much patience with his players so I'm thinking that Harley has to show something pretty soon.

Feel like you guys are being a bit harsh on these players. If Lids, Cyril, Bundy or Bennell have an injury free preseason and play all JLT games and score well you could consider starting all of them and if Ah Chee trains and plays with the midfield he is a genuine chance to go 90+ ...

They all present a heap of risk. I got screwed by injuries last season, so looking to avoid that this year. I can see the appeal, but at this stage won't be touching any of those players.

An injury free preseason doesn't excuse injury history.

As they say - "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

If a player has a somewhat significant injury history, I find them hard to justify selecting, regardless of whether I've been burned by them before or not.

I'll find more reliable selections that are just as capable.

If Lids has a trouble free pre season and goes ok in JLT might have a dabble on him

It's definitely a risk getting these guys in but there's some proven performers there that will score well if injury free. The premo options are pretty ordinary in my eyes so I'm definitely considering 1 or 2 of these.
Michael Barlow is the other that's growing on me. Will be needed in the midfield where he scores very well

Barlow, Bennell, Lids and Lobb are all capable of averaging 95+ in my opinion and if you take the risk and start with even just 2-3 of them and they pay off you will be set for a ripper of a season.

Lobb is the only one I'm looking at, almost zero interest in the others.

Yeah agreed. I just wish Lobb was R/F and I wouldn't think twice

Lobb is in my side because as the sole ruck I am picking him expecting him to become a keeper and go 95+

Cyril and Lids have FA chances of playing 22 games so I won't consider them

Christo and Bennell I like at their prices. If they turn into keepers then bonus, but I think they are great stepping stones (as long as fit etc) and allow me to bat deeper in other lines

Ill look into them, but really pessimistic that they will be good picks. Lobb possible if he takes the R1 role.
