Looking to have a massive year this year. Was down last year on my usual very high standards. This year I wanna be back there.

MID: Danger, Titch, Pendles, Bont, Fyfe, Beams, LDU, Brodie (Kelly, Worpel, Holman)
RUC: Gawn, Naitanui (McInerney)
FWD: Heeney, Billings, Ah Chee, Bennell, Higgins, Ahern (Kirby, Garlett)

Roast away fellas. Ask for any clarification on picks, happy to give them.

I wish I could find something to roast here but I am struggling. Weak in the forward line but Ah Chee and Bennell are a real chance of becoming keepers. It then allows you to have 6 genuine midfielders who are all a top 10 chance.

If a little luck goes your way im sure you will be right up the top just like previous seasons.

Don't like Z Williams personally but this could be the year he becomes a more solid performer.
Hibberd and Yeo are more appealing to me over him and Howe.
Bont played the second half of 2017 carrying an injury and still scored decent so he's good value IMO.
Pendles is cheap too but I'm worried that 2017 was the year he started his fall from super premo.
Glad to see Beams in any team.

Heater going downhill, ZWilliams becomes their main mover out of the defence. Jumped from an 88 to 94 average this season with a reasonable floor 16/20 over 82, has massive scope to improve and can go big
Yeo meh, if he plays backline no. Hibberd massive yes but struggling for funds. I think Bont is locked next year

Pendles is SC royalty NZ, never doubt him. However I'm keen on my man Cripps so went Pendles to him and Howe to Hibberd. 
Beams is a jet, love myself a goal kicking mid. Want him or Zorko but Zorko will get more attention.

Ah chee primed to play mid at Eagles so an absolute no brainer and Bennell is an absolute gun. Just needs to stay fit

Looks solid wato, similar type of structure to what most seem to be running at the moment. Curious about the Ah Chee pick, but am seeing him in a few teams currently and he'd be easy to swap out for a rookie if need be. Like the Beams pick too, he was a major reason why I won my league last season and am seriously considering him too.

good balance between players with a solid floor and upside and generating depth.    have not looked at ah chee yet, and bennell should be top 5 fwd.
like williams agree with you more upside in him and min downside.    also rarely does it pay to spend over 500k on defenders.   i feel d3 could one of ten players at the moment.    great team and reminds me why you are always pushing the very top coaches.

It feels like Pendlebury has been in my SC team since the 90s haha.
After last year though he seems more like Prince Philip than any other royal.
Cripps is more appealing atm... out with the old in with the new.

Awesome effort.
Similar to what I tried to do but I ditched Heeney (may bring him back but not too bothered atm... just had surgery) and brought in Lobb at F2.
Lots of premos with good history. By trying to balance lines I suppose a lot of the more expensive options e.g.  DMart, Kelly, Titch, MCrouch, Hibberd, Hurley and co become unaffordable. So long as Pendles, Bont, Williams etc go okay this team should figure highly.

After seeing what Mitchell did in his first year at Hawks has to be a lock so I like your first team better and it was less risky down back as well
