every year i tell myself avoid mid pricers but at the moment i have JOM and Birchall in the side.

that midfield is a little bit weaker then I would want but if defenders pop up then ill downgrade back there. Have bought some of the more expensive rookies in Rayner, Brayshaw, LDU,

As said your midfield is probably on the weaker side of many others at FanFooty but you have rookies that will play and score well as well as a stacked defence. Like all the premiums in your side also.

Thanks ill likely go Howe to a rookie and JOM to titchell for the 5 super premo mids.

Zorko Rocky and Beams interestingly i have fighting for that 4th mid spot.

As MS said, probably one too many DEF premos and one too few mid premos. Downgrading Howe and upgrading JOM would work nicely.

Whats your reasoning with Dahlhaus? Had an average 2017, do you see him getting back to his old form? I'd consider Heeney, Billings, Wallis for around the same price.

Love the Brayshaw pick, I think I'll be rolling with him myself.

lids at 340k (almost picked him) is great value as is Christo, Ah Chee and Bennell all at 250kish. all 3 of them cost the same as Buddy and 2 rookies. Which basically means im only running a 2 premo cost forward line.

and as always i have massively broken my guns and rookie mantra i promise myself i will do next year. The 6 premo mids help though.

The value is in the forwards for sure.
A strong midfield is possible if some of those can fill F3 and F4. Not sure if it will work out but I'm hoping it will.

I like your first team but maybe 1 less premo in the backs but get Mitchell in the mids as a back up Captains choice but you will probably have to tweak your FWD's a bit to afford that ?

Nice team though and well balanced. The temptation is to load up on forward mid pricers but the odds of them all working out are slim to none so prefer this set up

very similar to my team so I like it. I currently don't have Lobb in my team because I think that they could use Simpson as the number 1 ruck or have Keefe as the second ruck which will effect Lobb's scoring. However, if Lobb lines up round 1 as the sole ruck he will come straight into my side.

great team to sit on over the NAB cup or JLT or what ever it is these days haha.
