Mitchell surely, No 1 in everything this season

One thing keeping me away from Mitchell is the prospect of spending time forward, think this will drag his average down. Both O'Meara & Mitchell have been rotating in that position during intra club games.

0% chance mitchell goes forward mate
Yeah not like the Hawks are overflowing with inside extractors like Mitchell

"Mitchell also spent game time up forward in a potential sign of the Hawks’ wish to push both midfielders into the attacking arc this season. But the ball magnet, like he did in his record-breaking 2017 campaign, did his best work in the guts, picking up from where he left off last year and winning a stack of the ball."

There is almost zero chance Titch plays enough forward to effect his scoring. Hawks rely on his output in their so much and have plenty of small forwards as it is. If anything he may go fwd rather than the bench but even that is unlikely cause he plays most minutes. From what i found last year he isnt even a very good shot at goal and cant kick the pill too far either. Doesnt make sense playing him fwd.

RaisyDaisy

He probably spent time forward just to manage him

Why would they need him going 100% mid time in a intra club?

Think about it

Potential hmmmmmm think this is their game plan boys wrap her up, titch to kick 60

Instead of averaging 37 touches again they're going to move him forward at times so he averages 37 touches and 2 goals.

Every year there is talk of players spending more time FWD it makes me laugh especially with inside clearance players at the start of the game they start centre if there is a stoppage in the FWD'S they go forward if there is a stoppage in the backline they go back if there is stoppage on the wing they go to the wing most do get a rest forward or on the bench nothing has changed and nothing will.

Mitchell and Dusty

Not planning on starting either.

That's crazy talk!
Believe it or not there's about 40% of the comp that have neither.

RoughRed

Staring TMitch but Dustys quiet moves on the weekend will have watching Dangerfield closely.

I will play either danger or dusty at the start... Hopefully will have both on board by R13

Really?! Reasoning?

Well there’s no value in either of them. The money he saved by picking say Fyfe and Beams (just an example) could massively help his team. Titch and Dusty most likely won’t be going up in price, if anything they’ll probably fall a bit.

Having said that I have Titch and 50/50 on Dusty, but it’s not like you’re a big loser for not picking the best scorers if you can appropriately invest the money saved elsewhere - fantasy footy is a game of both points and money.

Lewis Jetta has to be the biggest lock surely?

Only 386k and priced at just 70.3. I hope you guys don't get sucked into spud mid-pricers like Brayshaw or O'Meara.

Jetta's move to the half back line will be as fruitful as can be. Elite disposal and run off the back flank will have AFL oppositions tearing their hair out! Not to mention he has a game built for SC with his high kick numbers and meters gained. If he was a fwd I'd expect at least 45% ownership. Since as a pure mid he is only in 1% of teams, this is the time to get on!
