nice team and structure shaker.
ryder over nicnat.   ryder is solid choice and good chance to outscore nicnat over the year if nicnat cannot stay on the park?
also what role do you see francis playing for the bombers that would get him up to high 80/low 90 scorer?  otherwise why have him over birchall?

Yeah Nic Nat spends a lot of time on the bench think it will increase coming off a knee reco plus Vardy seems to be over his injuries , Francis has just been chucked in there if I can afford Birchall maybe I will get him really only looking at guns at this time but cheers  :)

Feel like your mids are just one premium short IMO, starting 3 rookies on the field is a bit too much especially in the midfield. Maybe look to bring in a Conigilio/Armitage etc. so just give it a bit of a boost?

Fair bit of risk in your premium choices currently too. Yeo we don't know where he is going to be played, Beams has a terrible injury history and Heeney isn't training until late January. Of course all these picks could also be great choices, but I feel there is a lot of unnecessary risk in picking them all when there are more reliable (arguably) choices for around the same prices.

That is my preferred  structure but of course it all depends on rookies and cheaper players actually playing as for the backline I think I remember people saying last year that Doc would struggle to back his previous season and Adams was to big a injury risk along with Laird they were the Premo backs so pretty confident that my 3 choices for next season will get the job done

As for some risky picks in Beams and Heeney if they are struggling to be in shape I will swap them there is so many quality mids this year replacing Beams will be easy Heeney maybe not so easy with FWD choices but cheers thanks for your comments  :)

Great picks at this stage.
Having Ryder is a luxury this year. It will be interesting to see how many teams start him this year with Gawn and NicNat so cheap in comparison.

The only thing against Ryder is his bye hopefully there is a cheap R3 available or it will be tricky to start him

Agree. Has to be weighed up when selecting him.

So what do you intend doing in R10 with Ryder?

Would love to start him think he will just about top the rucks , praying for a cheap ruck or R/F that comes in before his bye ha ha or using trades to cover for him if not don't know will see what unfolds

There don't appear to be any value (rookie) ruck options that seem likely to play in 2018 (unless a series of injuries occur at certain clubs)

Hi Shaker, here are my observations/opinions re: your team.
DEF:
- Like the Yeo & Hurley picks, solid & dependable
- Not a fan of the Lloyd selection, ranked 17th DEF for 2017, that's not good enough to merit selection IMO, will get you points but not enough to be competitive overall if you keep him, even as a D6.  I'd do what you can to get Laird in.
- Not a fan of the Birchall selection, can't see him averaging > 80 PPG, also can't see him playing 22 games. As per Lloyd, will get you points early but long term will effect your ranking.
MID:
- Like the Danger/Titch/Fyfe picks, they are all must have's
- Bont selection could pay off, had a bit of a down year last year, dunno....
- Beams won't go top 8 MID so I don't know if it's a good idea to select him, especially given his games per season history. But then again, he might... it's just risky.
RUCK:
- I'd love to pick Ryder, god he was good in 2017, but that R10 bye just sucks ass.  It's a guaranteed donut, and no-one likes the taste of those!
- Gawn picks himself this year IMO, looks fit AF, could go #1 ruck
FWD:
- Greene, he's such a White Goodman.  I had him last year and it's enough for me to not pick him again, at most I'd look to make him one of my last upgrades to try to minimise my exposure to his dickhead antics/missed games
- Don't like the Dollshouse pick, he had a dirty year in 2017, enough to scare me off from selecting him
- Bennell... risk/reward... but, even if he plays well, how many games will he play? I'd bet my ballbag he won't play 22 games. I guess at worst you'd have to burn a trade if he re -injures himself.

Overall, a good starting effort and with some adjustments you'll be good to go.
