Aggressive and optimistic team structure NZ.   Hope it pays off for you.
You have a plan to cover LDU which is likely to be needed by round 3 corrective trades.  If you need some more cash down back look at Laird - Zac Williams, as definitely possible Gibbs may take some points if he plays off the backline.   Williams is still on the upswing and just hitting the scoring sweet spot in terms of age and experience.

your seven starting mid prems look good.    others to consider when juggling for cash are zerrett (likely to be a POD), Bont, Oliver and MCrouch and of course Pendles in his SC swan song year.
In all likelihood I'll revert back to one less mid and get Heeney back in, but think this stacked mids team could be on the cards if the cheap forwards get through pre season. We'll see.

Beams isn't leaving my side. First picked. Wash your mouth out with soap.  :P
haha. I deeply and sincerely apologise for any harm I have caused. I hope that you can find it in the bottom of your heart to forgive me for the absurdity of my previous comment.  ;)
You mean Beams isn't leaving my side UNTIL he is injured...... ;D ;D ;D

Shhhh this will be his year ;)

I had Coniglio over Heeney early on, but having a top 3 forward from the start, compared to a top 30 mid and number 2 or 3 at GWS convinced me to save the trade - would you have Coniglio at R15?

Coniglio could become MCrouch, Oliver, Kelly, Pendlebury, or any other such gun mid that works with my bye structure as soon as I can afford a straight swap. Hopefully he puts up keeper numbers but realistically he's probably a quick stepping stone.
I'm not 100% on starting him but he does look like a very good pick.

Peter

Lets hope Beams stays fit as Brisbane got a very difficult first few weeks

What must be considered is that at his price, he doesn't even have to be a top 10 mid. Murphy was priced similarly last year and though he did turn out to be a top mid (top 15ish IIRC), people started him with the thought in mind that he could become M9 come seasons end, whilst also proving to be a value pick early on. Could see how the same reasoning could apply to Coniglio this year.

Peter

The more you think, the harder it becomes. Bring on JLT!

Laird, Hibberd, Simpson, O'Shea, Richards, Murray (Goddard, Doedee)
Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Beams, Cripps, LDU, Freeman (Kelly, Worpel, Garlett)
Gawn, Natanui (Olango)
Greene, Billings, Lobb, Christensen, Higgins, Ahern (Venables, Ryan)

0/10/9/10 Byes.... not counting Olango.
29k remaining
Pretty well set on those bolded picks. Would take a pre season hiccup to take them out or a major reshuffle of rookies that would mean restructuring.
Greene, Lobb and Christensen are in at the moment, on the watchlist, but given their prices - Lobb and Christensen in particular, I may have to change elsewhere depending on who I look at replacing them with.

Awesome mid set up mate. No need to tinker with that line.
Similar structure to mine. Going deep in the mid field then looking at some bargain hunting in the forward line.
Can't see any issues here. Top job mate.

Nice squad with a good bye structure too. The 3/6/2/3 with Lobb as the third forward is exactly what I'm running with myself so naturally I like your side ;D

Yep like it, think the forwards is the least risky line to have a go at the mid pricers whilst going mostly GnR on other lines! Same approach I'll be taking!
Excited about what billings could do this year also

Peter

Only two different premiums, so excellent side
