D Smith Ronke Guelfi to McLean, Gray & JJK this week.

D- Laird, Simpson, Sicily, Yeo, Hibberd, Doedee (Austin, Rice)
M- Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, JPK, Holman (E Phillips, Spargo, Ahern)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Olango)
F- Heeney, McLean, Gray, Westhoff, Walters, JJK (T Smith, Keeffe)

Loving those fwds after having so many rookies holding the fort there till now.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trades above are done....
Planned trades for next week....
Holman, E Phillips (bye) and Doedee (bye) to Rockliff, Giro (bye) and Hurley next week.

D- Laird, Simpson, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Hibberd (Austin, Rice)
M- Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, JPK, Rockliff (Spargo, Ahern, Giro)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Olango)
F- Heeney, McLean, Gray, Westhoff, Walters, JJK (T Smith, Keefe)

All going to plan my team will be finished in terms of having premos on the field in all positions if they're available.
Will have to be happy with that now.
Rockliff at M8 could end in pain. Would like Oliver there but can't see it happening for me anymore.
Hibberd at D6 isn't ideal but considering I've had him from R1 as a gun defender/safe pick I'll live with that.
Heeney, McLean, Westhoff and Walters can all cover in mids with DPP or be covered through Spargo and Ahern.
Sicily and Keeffe DPP option is in play still if needed too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alternate plan for next week if T Smith isn't named and I can afford it (suspect I may just fall short on funds though)
These trades may be better long term as it means I can have Ahern or Spargo as cover in fwds/ at least they're playing. I'm in the dark as to where T Smith is at and if he will even if he will return to the Dees line up this year.

Holman, T Smith (inj?named?) and Doedee (bye) to Rockliff, Wilson (bye) and Hurley next week.

D- Laird, Simpson, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Hibberd (Austin, Rice)
M- Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, JPK, Rockliff (Spargo, Ahern, E Phillips)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Olango)
F- Heeney, McLean, Gray, Westhoff, Walters, JJK (Wilson, Keefe)

Traded T Smith & Holman to De Goey & Powell

D- Laird, Simpson, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Hibberd (Rice, Redman)
M- Fyfe, Mitchell, Cripps, Dangerfield, Martin, Coniglio, JPK, Heppell (Spargo, Powell, E Phillips)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Olango)
F- Heeney, Gray, Westhoff, McLean, Walters, De Goey (Ahern, Keeffe)

1 trade left. Had a gutsful of 2018. Been chasing my tail all year. Not too bothered my trades are all but gone... it is what it is and now it's out of my hands.
Will use the trade as soon as I have a LTI that means I'll be eating doughnuts.

Trade History
R2 Beams - Bonner & Naughton - Dangerfield (Bonner wasn't a good pick but neither was Beams. Danger at top dollar was a fail and Naughton made seroius coin)
R4 Lobb - Crowden & Armitage - Coniglio (Good trades)
R5 Bonner - Walters & Liam Ryan - Mirra (Good trades)
R6 J Kelly - Cripps & Venables - Guelfi (Good trades)
R7 Brayshaw - Spargo & Garlett - JPK (Good trades)
R8 Banfield - Mutch & Crowden - Ronke (Good trades...Mutch wasn't much but still a cash grab, ronke was great)
R9 Sauce Jacobs - Grundy & Billings - E Phillips (Good trades... Sauce is finally getting it together but Grundy has still been way better and Billings continued spudding)
R10 T Kelly - Rice & Murray - Heeney (Good trades)
R11 Fritsch - T Smith & ZGL - Westhoff (Good trades, though Fritsch has continued on, the downgrade allowed Westhoff who has been great and played throughout the byes)
R12 Finlayson - Yeo & Mirra - Austin & Mutch - Ahern (Good trades)
R13 D Smith - Gray & Ronke - JJK & Guelfi - McLean (Bye trades, probably 1 good, 1 iffy, 1 bad...D Smith looked to have done a calf, gambled but have Gray, 1x extra premo score through the byes ...probably a wasted trade... we'll see how it plays out over the remaining season, JJK=failed trade, happy to have McLean)
R14 JJK - Heppell & Doedee - Hurley & Austin - Redman (2 good and Redman injured ...needed to rid myself of JJK, Redman = fail)
R15 Holman - De Goey & T Smith - Powell (was going to cop a fwd doughnut and thought "Stuff it, gonna trade" earlier in the week anyway because I'm sick of the continued struggle and am now resigned to my fate... what will be will be).

In looking at those trades as a whole there's not much I would change.
My biggest problem was my starting team.
D- Hibberd
M- Armitage, Beams, JKelly
R- Jacobs
F- Billings, Lobbe, LRyan, Venables (rookies combined with injuries to ZGL and other dud picks Garlett DPP gave me headaches)

May have had a different season with
D- Yeo (have him now....didn't consider Lloyd or Savage as R1 picks but had Yeo pencilled in some starting teams)
M- Oliver, Coniglio (over Beams and JKelly- just got this wrong, easy fix) and another premo fwd rather than Armo
R- Grundy (like everyone)
F- Heeney, McLean
