Interesting selection structure - big guns on all lines whereas most other teams to date have gone with a weaker backs or forwards setup to strengthen their mids. Good luck for 2018

Thanks Peter, I've tried to select my team on the principal of only selecting premiums I think will finish top 6 in their position (Back/Fwd) or top 8 (Mids). Coniglio is the exception, don't think he'll be top 8, but do think he will avg >100 so presents great value.

One of the best sides i have seen in my opinion. Premiums all top 10 in there position for sure in my opinion and Robinson will also be a great pod.

Have tinkered with my team a little over the Christmas break, here's the updated version.  Have $35,400 to spare.

Good side, well balanced. Good one to sit on until the JLT I'd say. Since you're one of the few sides to have him I'm curious as to your thoughts on how Lever could affect Hibberd's output?

Hey shaker, yep you’re right. I might just have to have a crap round in R14 I think, don’t want to compromise my premium selections based on bye rounds, the best players are the players I want in my team. Maybe I’ll be able to cover the holes with playing rookies?

I’m not a Melbourne fan so can’t lay claim to knowing their team/players inside out, but I don’t think Lever will negate Hibberd’s scoring, he didn’t impact Laird’s scoring at Adelaide. Again, I could be totally wrong!

Yes, Lever unlikely to impact - based on Adelaide form. It would be interesting to hear from Demons supporters as to why Hibberd’s scores dropped off later in 2017

Yeah no complaints here. Only issue may be that you might have to fork out some extra cash for more expensive rookies, such as Dow, LDU, Brodie, Rayner, Brayshaw, Cerra etc.

Well you only need best 18 as it stands you are -2 playing in the FWD'S same in the mids but a lot can happen before the byes and teams can change a lot but my golden rule in the byes is set up team so no trades are used in the first of the main bye rounds ...... trades are sacred and some must be saved for the SC finals but that is just how I go about it not a law  ;D

Guess what I'm trying to say is to have any chance of winning overall you have to have everything sorted a well balanced team and a healthy dose of luck a few years back I was in a situation where just before the byes when it's upgrade time and just about all the rookies that I needed for upgrades were in the bye I was already over stacked in so I copped a shocking score that round and season was basically over

Honestly, I think this is a really good team. Byes are the only issue as people have already said, but prior to 2017 my bye plans were always shot by the time they bye came around anyway, so last year I had zero bye planning in my starting selection and it worked out fine :P

Sit tight and wait on rookies, well done!
