That R2.  :-* :-* :-*

$12,300 Remaining

Holding Danger, a trade isn't worth the 60 points or even the 120 points you'd lose if he's out for two weeks, I don't think he'll drop too much cash either, should stay above 600k. It's easy to say you'll pick him up at a lower price but I went all last year without Dusty or Mitchell due to other issues, it's way too hard to predict and not worth the risk of not having him all year imo.

If I need more money for rookie moves, I'm open to trading Hurley and Goldy to Hibberd and Nank.

R1: 2,444 Overall: 623

R2: 2,300 Overall: 1,527

Off to a good start.

Not sure if I should trade this week.

Don't think Langdon walks straight back in to the Giants side so I reckon I'll trade him, probably to Barry.

Bont and Lobb could be the other two issues, I reckon I'll hold Lobb as I expect him to do well against Sinclair this week but dunno what to do with Bont. Could go up to Oliver or down to Cripps, I wish I had a way to get to Dusty though.

Ringo

How about Brayshaw to Barry and Bont to Dusty before price changes.

Kelly and Holman good for m7 and M8 at the moment and Dusty scores will help as well.

Is trading Brayshaw, who will make cash, over Langdon, who's out for a month, worth it to get Dusty over Cripps though, tough call.

I could use Langdon to loophole Fritsch and one of the Eag boys, hmmmmm.

Ringo

Was only a suggestion on how to get Dusty.  Brayshaw while having JS will be a slow burn and will only go up 28k with a 60 score whereas Barry with a 53 will rise $41k.  So comes down to Barrys cash generation and Dustys points v saving a trade.  Your decision.

I am in a similar boat with Bont and giving him another week to see if any improvement. Scored 101 last week was a positive sign.

Loopholing probably a good option if not trading ZGL.

I was caught out last year holding too many under performing premos making it hard to get the 115+ guys last year so I reckon the trade is worth it to get Dusty this early.

Cheers Ringo, I didn't even think of this option until you mentioned it.

R3: 2,220 Overall: 2,240

R4: 2,154 Overall: 1,767

Looks like I'm in danger of a donut with the possibility of Fritsch being dropped but I'm not sure what do, Goldy and Billings also looking like issues but I reckon I'll hold them for now.

Venables probably the one to go but not sure who to get, options are:

- Coffield via Garlett

- A week late on Crowden but still cheaper than Coffield

- A week early on Guelfi

- A week early on Mirra via Garlett & Finlayson

Thoughts would be appreciated :)

Ringo

I would go Coffield as he has JS and will rise to an estimated 225k whereas Crowden will rise to an estimated $160k a slower rise than Coffield. So if looking to upgrade Coffield will get more cash sooner.

We can have another look at Guelfi and Mirra this week and make trades if warranted there,

Trindacut

Mirra is a 27 mature age, and named on field. He's in this week for me.

PowerBug

Yeah I think Venables to Coffield makes sense here. You won't be able t upgrade next week anyway so there's no harm in leaving both Mirra and Guelfi until they are on the bubble.

Not sure what you mean by the above comment Ringo, Crowden is already 160k?

Definitely some great signs there, decided to give him another week though and pick him up on the bubble.

Yeah that last bit is definitely true, I've decided to go with Crowden over Coffield though due to the 12k price difference, I reckon their JS are about the same.

Cheers for the comments guys!

SilverLion

I'd go Coffield via Garlett. Opens up a handy D/M link with Finlayson. I'd say the 10k extra is worth it over Crowden.

R5: 2,036 Overall: 7,072 - Dropped 5k spots in a week >:(

At the last minute last week, I changed from Crowden to Coffield, which turned into a disaster, not because Coffield was bad, but because I ended up having to field Garlett for his 21 and with him dropped, Buddy injured, and maybe no Fritsch, my forward line is a mess.

Thinking Garlett and Buddy to Guelfi and Heeney/Gray; worried about having to field another fwd rookie for Gray in his bye and the Jacobs tag he'll probably get this week, so I'm leaning towards Heeney at this stage.

Would love to be able to punt Parker and Goldy as well but trades are going fast so not sure what to do there.

crowls

why not parker to heeney/gray via garlett put coffield on the field
