Grab McLean and Gray from Armitage and Lobb. Just play one in the mids for now

Bonner>Yeo   (can we see Yeo maintaining his role)
Goldy>Grundy

Dont see Lobb losing much, compared to Gain from Grundy over Goldy,

Think I'd rather Conigs over Gray for now

I think Arma and Lobb are much bigger concerns than Goldy and Bonner for now, but I'll definitely be looking to get Yeo and Grundy in eventually if they keep going like they have been

Tried getting creative, but with all the low BE's my rookies have I think I'm just going to go with what seems the most obvious to me and that's Lobb to McLean and Arma to Conigs

Definitely not expecting Conigs to maintain his scoring, but 105+ from here on seems more than reasonable and he's still cheap so I think he is worth grabbing and banking the 80k instead of grabbing Macrae etc

Waiting to see what happens with Lobb.  The premise of single ruck at GWS with his prior scores as sole ruck should still be sound.   Billings has a question mark, Arma and Goldy also.   Goldy could lose 200 points in next 4 rounds between Goldy and Grundy.   For me that makes the trade worth while.

Been a long time since I last provided any update here so I figured I might as well now as my team is essentially complete for the time being

It's been without a doubt the most brutal season of SC I've ever been involved in. I usually finish within the Top 2k most years and have multiple finishes in the Top 1k but this year I'm currently floating around the 18k mark and have next to no trades left haha

They say that when it rains it pours, and it's been pouring since Round 1 for me

Here's where things stand entering R14

D: Rory Laird, James Sicily, Elliot Yeo, Kade Simpson, Luke Ryan, Shannon Hurn (Mason Redman, Jordan Ridley)

M: Tom Mitchell, Nat Fyfe, Clayton Oliver, Josh Kelly, Matt Crouch, Stephen Coniglio, Dustin Martin, Tom Rockliff (Nick Holman, Dom Barry, Kobe Mutch)

R: Max Gawn, Todd Goldstein (Tony Olango)

F: Isaac Heeney, Robbie Gray, Toby McLean, Justin Westhoff, Travis Boak, Bailey Fritsch (Josh Battle, Lachie Keeffe)

90k in the kitty is handy for the inevitable injuries that are yet to come, but I'm running on fumes in terms of trades left

If I can somehow have a turn of luck and get through the next month unscathed (which seems impossible based on year to date) then I would love to use that 110k to turn Fritsch or Holman into a prem, but for now this is the side that needs to get it done for me

I could have brought TMac in this week but have decided to go with Hoff - just think the 75k saved will be very useful. I've got a few nice POD's in my side though which is the one thing I am happy about this year

I guess I was due to have a shocker year eventually, so now that it's here I just hope I can get through the remainder of this year and then gear up for a much better 2019

It's still a good side you've ended up with, and Nick Holman will provide some decent cover hopefully. How many trades are left?

Also other than Hurley (I have Sicily in defence) we have the same backline :o

Well we can have identical backlines, because I can go with Hoff instead of Hurley and move Sicily back

That's the decision I need to make in the next couple of hours. Hoff vs Hurley

EDIT - We do have the same, because I'm grabbing Hoff instead of Hurley

Nice side RD. Given the season you've had you've done really well to have an almost full premo (Fritsch at F6 and Rockliff M8 is still solid) side.

I'd go Hoff ahead of Hurley as well, I've had Hurley all year and his form of late has been a bit questionable, think its due to his role being up in the air.
