Agree with the above. Dahl/Steph to Bundy/Ahern and then upgrade a defender looks sound.

Can't fault the team mate with some nice pods across all lines that are as good a chance of any of being top 10.

Personally, I think Dahl to Bundy, Stepheson to cheaper forward and the upgrade of a defender would look really good mate.

Ended up going for now:

Menegola-->Bundy
Stepho-->Ahern
LDU-->Worpel
Smith-->Hibberd

And I reckon I might sit on this for a while haha

So...

Defence structure will depend on rookies available. I'm not expecting to get much more than 3-4 decent rookies tbh. None of the mid-pricers (such as Brayshaw, McGrath) really appeal to me that much. Expecting Hurley and Yeo to drop in price, so they would be my D5/6 upgrade targets at this stage once they bottom out.

All my mids over 595k...not something I was looking to do. But I've been having trouble deciding who I want in the mids apart from Danger, Tmitch, and Fyfe, so this'll do for the time being. Not interested in Coniglio like a lot of others are. Think he'll average around the 100 mark and be in that awkward range all year where you want to trade him but have more pressing issues. If I was gonna start a mid-pricer, it'd probably be Reddo.

Have been swayed to go for Goldy over Jacobs. Even though he has the same bye as Gawn, it probably helps with the overall bye situation, and I'll back him to get near his best again this year.

With Lobb having an interrupted pre-season, have made the switch to Robbo. Can easily put up premo fwd numbers all year, and is underpriced after his injury last year (was averaging 91 before injury). Heeney and Buddy both under consideration for a starting spot. Will depend on the rookie situation in defence.

Still have a bit over 30k left in the kitty. Fairly happy with this though...for now ;D

shaker

Looks pretty good GL backs bat pretty deep you have the 4 must have guns plus Merrett in the mids 2 good rucks the FWD's not as deep but you can't have everything on Robbo do you think he will be used as a mid or as a mid tagger if the latter then he is a risk but good team to sit on.

Money Shot

Love the team apart from the Robbo pick as I think he will tag in games which will effect his score.

You would have a better idea than me though :P

frenzy

can I make a suggestion bud?

Brodie to Stephanson to open up DPP in the MIDS/FWDS

Lloyd to Sicily in DEF... also opens DPP, bonus.

And that will Probably leave enough to go Robbo to Heeney.

Tbh i wouldn't be surprised if Berry was used as a tagger. Cheers man :)

His floor has been around 80 for ages now. When he runs free he scores 90+ easily imo. As just mentioned, i think Berry will tag a bit this season :)

I love Stepho, will try to bring him in if named rd1 for sure. Not a sicily fan though.

Cheers for the comments though!

In all seriousness GL, side looks great mate.

Love the forwards, backs and rucks. Maybe one mid short would be my only concern.

Really depends on the rookie situation. I don't like a lot of the midpricers and think rookies down back will be limited. So gone stronger there. If we get a few more though, will look at strengthening the mids for sure :)
