Not happy but may sit or just trade Andrews to Simpson/Cripps if injury continues to be serious as Austin/Smith will not be great coverage.

With Treloar now being injured as well and with team gone to pot Andrews to Lloyd and Treloar to Wingard. Wingard can float with Bundy as well.

Had a rethink and think deGoey may be better option than Wingard with more mid involvement.

So Andrews to Lloyd and Treloar to De Goey,

Leaving this team with only 3 trades.



Best I can do with both Treloar and Andrews now gone for considerable time.  Got a fair bit of flexibility with mids and forwards DPP.

Rd 14 Team:


Was loopholing Kelly and Ballard but Ahern late in mucked that up. Ahern scored well so only lost 15 points.
Also as loopholing DeGoey and Bundy but kept Bundy on field after DeGoeys 64.

Fyfe is the dilema this week but with 3 trades probably worth sitting this week at least.
Options to cover:
Play both Kelly and Ahern and sit Fyfe on bench.
Move one of the Fwd with DPP to mids and play DeGoey and Bundy.
If Not named trade Spargo to Narkle for cash and leave 2 trades with 180k as well.
Probably leaning to first option at the moment unless something eventuates with team announcements and can do some more loopholing.

With Fyfe out for 4/5 think I need to use 1 of my 3 trades but who to - Neale, JPK, Gaff, Cripps and a couple of PODS in Ward and Higgins. 
Think Neale may cop more attention with Fyfe out so tentatively ruling him out.
Although Missy Higgins was on my never again list he is putting up a strong case as a nice POD and has a nice draw coming up. Only concern though is will he join the injured brigade if I pick him.
Cripps - will the blues put him on ice if they can not avoid wooden spoon although draw is favourable.
JPK - with improved form looks the obvious choice but will he cop a tag from Scott Selwood this weekend.
Ward - Him and Coniglio seem to swapping scores in recent weeks and so brings a litttle risk.

So basically with having Wines as a POD do i risk another with Higgins or go safety first with JPK or Neale.
or hold and not trade using DPP and benches to cover Kelly, Ahern, DeGoey, Bundy, Fritsch and Ballard.
Decisions that will go back and forth till Thursday

Would play it safe in your situation Ringo and bring in Cripps. Gives you another captain option and as you mentioned with Wines already in your mids 2 PoDs could become a bit too risky.

Dropped 74 points by not going with the masses with Gawn as C over Titch as C.

With only 2 trades left will probably sit not ideal but hand could be forced if injuries intervene. Heeney will return to forwards and then hoping to do some loopholing so long as Smith not named. Whilst not outstanding have coverage on all lines except Rucks.

Yep 2 more trades would have been nice to sort out M8 and F6 as I will have to play one of Kelly or Bundy each week probably Kelly most times with Heeney forward.

Know how you feel round b4 byes trades were all planned and i was going to have 7 trades left after complete team. Then the byes came and its now 1 trade left

Who to though for maximum benefit Pendles, Jelwood, Beams, Cripps or Oliver. Leaning towards Pendles with Treloar still out for 6 - 8 weeks and Pies aiming to stay in Top 4. Think he is a better option at the Pies than Sidebottom.

Pendles would be my second choice, actually spewing I chose Gaff over him. Reasoning was Pendles very average this year, but after his game vs Bombers, Treloar out and top 4 up for grabs I know he'll punish me for not giving him a last run.

You risk too much, and most players come back from appendix after two weeks off.
