Option B, still have time to worry about the Port guys. I want another look to see how Rocky, Boak & Gray will share the forward duties.
Agree, would go Option B out of those. Though I can see merit in bringing in Rockliff/Boak this week instead of Danger.

Just worked out could get Macrae instead of Danger is that the better option at this stage or wait till after his bye.

ubeaut

If it doesn't stuff future trades/cash too much Macrae is a must, but so is Danger.
Can't believe u got McKernan, if I'd known I would have tried to talk u out of it! Very up and down and likely to go when JD returns. Still makes it a tough decision to trade him out, he might bounce back against Tiges, or he and my Bombers might get a hiding.

Ringo

Thanks UB McKernan a speculative move that did not come off but did get a slight rise and going down to Smith will probably get more when he is ripe.
Decision is do I get Macrae now or wait till after his bye. Seriously think waiting till after his bye may be the best and upgrade Nigs  if he is not keeping up the high scores or Bundy.
Dependent on Yeo and Hurley being named, think Kelly to Danger this week  and McKernan to Smith leaves me $205k. If only one named and Ridley holds his place or Murphy named will still do.
Then Rd 12 Downgrade maybe 2 of Guelfi, Fritsch, Spargo, Mirra depending on B/E  for more cash
Rd 13 One of Nigs or Bundy to Macrae  depending on cash.
Will leave 9 trades with one prem defender to come in and maybe 2 in forwards,

Tough call macrae and danger both so good.

But im thinking danger now macrae after his bye

Ringo

Yep my thoughts too Sammy Macrae bye next week as well so that came into consideration as well.

OK had a rethink and looking at 4 trades:

1) McKernan to Smith and Kelly to Danger

2) Kelly to Smith via Westhoff - Mirra to Webster.

3) Mirra to Smith via DPPs and  Coffield to Webster

4) Mirra to Smith and Kelly to Macrae/Danger

1 gets Danger around lowest price and must have and fixes my McKernan stuff up
2. Gets rid of a non playing rookie in Mirra - Means playing 2 of McKernan, Smith, Guelfi, Fritsch
3. Gets rid of 2 non playing rookies in Mirra and Coffield -  Means playing
4. Gets a strong mid but both Macrae and Danger have high B/es and may drop further

Keep McKernan 1 more week
4 is the strongest, that would be my choice.

Agreed. As I mentioned in the Round 11 Trades thread, would be going Danger ahead of Macrae due to price.

Just realised with 4 have to bench one of Reddan, Coniglio or Dusty.

This week Rank 70.174

Rd 11 Team

Trading Plan at this stage>

Rd 12 - Coffield to Austin
        -  Bundy to Gray
        - McKernan to Boak

Should have 138K in Kitty

24 players available 25 if Murphy named again.

Rd 13 -  Spargo to Giro
          -  Murphy to Hurn

19 players available.

Rd 14 - Ridley to Mihocek
           Phillips to Ahern
        -  Kelly to Oliver/Cripps/Phillips Pies as a POD to decide

20 players available

Leaving 5 trades and this team

Def: Laird, Yeo, Hurley, Savage, Hurn, Doedee (Austin Mihocek)
Mids: Oliver/Phillips/Cripps, Fyfe, Mitchell, Treloar, Bont, Westhoff, Coniglio, Reddan (Dusty,Ahern, Giro)
Rucks: Gawn, Martin (Olango)
Fwds: McLean, Heeney, Gray, Boak, Devon Smith, Fritsch (Guelfi, Smith)

If I want to gamble and leave 2/3 trades Doedee to McDonald and Fritsch to Danger via Westhoff.

SilverLion

Interesting that your plan will leave Westhoff in the mids. Could work though provided Fritsch continues to score well.

Like Phillips as a PoD, will have to become a bit more consistent though.

Not sure I'd only leave 2/3 trades this far out, maybe bring in one of Danger/McDonald soon, but the other in the final few rounds. Gotta keep some injury trades handy.

May have to reassess with injuries and suspensions. Usual dilemma for me great plans spoilt by injury and demotions.

Will post revised plans here but with research have found a little gem>

Doing Bundy to Touk Miller bringing Westhoff back to forwards. Has played some quality opposition in the last 5 rounds and has a 5 rd average of 106 (112 for last 3 rounds) and will play through the byes and could be a handy M9.

Waiting on teams for to decide on other trades,

Bully

When you mentioned Miller I figured he was around 400k, 491k is very steep for an M9.

Was just looking at a 400/500k mid on the rise and came across his stats. He is also expected to average 104 for the remainder of year. With my team perfect loophole with Dusty.  Originally was going to use Rocky and may still do but his role and scoring worrying.

And then this popped up as well

Gold Coast: Aaron Hall (pectoral tendon) out for 10-12 weeks

So will spend a fair bit of time around the ball.
