Latest team published prior to lock out.

Only 31k remaining.

Fist team made for information.

Cash remaining $160k
Rookies obviously place holders.
May not keep both Christensen and Bennell but price is sound and easy change for rookies.
Think Hanley will improve this year with the absence of Suns midfielders.
O'Meara may be upgraded in final wash up.

Recording byes for info as well:
Rd 10 - Gold Coast and Port Adelaide -
Rd 12 - Carlton, Hawthorn, West Coast, Western Bulldogs
Rd 13 - Brisbane, Collingwood, Essendon, GWS, Melbourne, North Melbourne
Rd 14 - Adelaide, Fremantle, Geelong, Richmond, St Kilda, Sydney.

May have to relook at some selections in due course as RD 14 bye looks a killer.

Our backlines are identical lol (except O'Shea, I just have a cheaper rookie atm)

I too think Hanley can bounce back to 90+ and am happy to lock him in at his price

Sabretooth Tigers

Bloody nice team as always Ringo. Very risky forward line with all of Gray, Christensen and Bennell. And having said that if they are all Ok and hit their straps, all would almost be capable of averaging 100 so it could pay off very handsomely. Considering O'Meara also, Taylor could be a nice POD. Great start, cheers mate.

I'm not super keen on Hanley myself, but can see the reasoning behind the pick. Adams could be a great POD in the mids. JOM at M5 seems a bit weak though.

Hey Ringo,
Awesome team as usual mate, well thought out and I can see merit in all of your choices.

Personally I'm not sold on Adams mate, I feel he peaked last year SC-wise, he's premium priced, it was his first above 100 after years of 90s and he had a purple patch at the end of the year 842/7 which coincides with Pendles being out injured. Removing those games leaves him with an average of 101, which I feel will be closer to the mark.

All the best mate, I'm sure it will change hundreds of times before lockout!

Hi Ringo,  here we go for the season.    :P  Hope you have a good one.
my two bobs worth - Treloar will outscore Adams.  Much better mid options elsewhere.  Would drop Gray from Forwards and grab a Crouch, Cripps, Selwood for the mids.  With Gibbs and Motlop at Port, Gray's on ball minutes will be limited.   Think he will struggle to average 90.
one of my Harmon Gibbs Rules: Rule 52 - No selecting JOM.   C'mon mate do you really want all that pain again?
Well balanced team just some of your starters need looking at.
JOM, Bennell, Christenson, Gray are all going to score 2000+ by year end.  I dont think so.

As I said in thread O'Meara may be upgraded and will probably only start one of Bennell or Bundy.  Gray is probably one that I will watch pre-season to see effect of Ports inclusions on him.
Will probably adjust mids 1000 times before lockout  ;D ;D. especially with 3 top mids out in Rd 1t at this stage.
Probably look at Adams to Treloar and O'Meara to Coniglio.  Did not realise he was so cheap so an easy upgrade.  Still 60k left in cash,

Don't think I'll touch Hanley, Not that cheap, has the early bye and thanks to the Comm games GC have the worst draw I have ever seen for an AFL club in rds 1-9. GC could easily be 0-9 and getting pumped every week. They have a "home" game in Perth FFS haha

Probably 3-4 too many Brisbane players.  :P
Get Beams though  ;)
Aside from that nice start.

Ringo

Like this team a lot better with some risks removed. Like the 5 prem mids starting. One to sit one for a while ample cash to manouvre rookies as well.

Bundy could still become Bennell based on JLT form. Bundy is capable of averaging 85/90 which will do me.
Beams is over his injuries and has done all preseason work.
Barlow and Hanley imo will step up to fill void left by Gaz, Matera and co.

GoLions

Barlow and Treloar are two guys I'm looking at as well, think they could both be great picks.

This team looks better balanced.    Hopefully Hanley and Barlow step up as you suggest.    Did not realise the impact the C'wealth games would have on the Suns.   Will keep it in mind closer the start of the season.
thanks for the note on Beams,  need to look a bit closer at him.  btw who is bundy?

Sorry Bundy is Allan Christensen.
