I’m with Crowls, might not be a technical premium at present, but if follows whst he did when Mumford didn’t play, he will be in 2018

That's counting your chickens before the eggs have hatched!

Maybe, but he should be like Nank last year. Clear no. 1 ruck, so will be getting points by default.
DCAK if Lobb is not no 1 ruck at GWS other options will be taken.  Heeney, Franklin or downsize to Ah Chee, Christensen as stepping stones.   However as No 1 ruck,  I am confident Lobb will end up as 2000 point scorer which would put him in to 5-6fwds.

Yep pretty simple if Lobb is the only really big man on the field ala Nank he is a no brainer if not then it makes it a bit harder to choose him.

Updated team   rookies still suspect,
upgraded hanley to hibberd,
brought in Sicily to provide fwd/def f4/d4 based on rookie availability.   lobb gone,
bennell to bundy
jom,  c/be armitage
nicnat to goldy

crowls

Not happy with Hibberd at F2 paying top dollar for him.
so  tossup between hibberd/jom > rampe (or 450Kdef)/coniglio
do not think hanley is the d3 answer we are seeking.   any ideas guys?

Bully

Great looking side, well balanced & similar to my own.

As for Hanley, gone off him too, will look at bringing in either Hibberd or Simmo.

crowls

Thanks Bully.     Be good if Lobb got up,  then could move sicily back to def.  pretty sure a swans def is not def 3 answer either.     might have to end up with jom /hibberd.  still a couple of weeks to go...

nice sides! i have the exact same structure as your first team! Although i do prefer the changes you have just made as coniglio will most likely average way more than O'meara. However, Im really unsure if Rampe is capable of averaging enough to be worth the pick as his highest averaging year is 86. What do you think about him?

Hanley on the otherhand im also unsure about due to his injures of late.

Thanks Sam,  agree on Rampe,  finding D3 is proving difficult.  Shaw is available for 450 and I may go to him and pray he has another decent year in him.

I think that the first team is better as you have am extra top 10 player in your team which is one trade you automatically save.

hibberd/jom v rampe-shaw/cogs
95+90 v 85+95-105.     see what you mean MS and hibberd should be a 2000pt defender.

Dangerless Version
Danger>Dusty   227k in Cash.
When Danger available   Bont or Cripps to Danger.

I feel more comfortable starting Danger and wearing the loss of points.   Tempted to start Sandi as well.

Don't start Danger because he you will be losing ton of points and will put you behind everyone else as his going to lose money most likley with his 140 BE or something like that. So I will wait as for me his going to my first upgrage player in the Mid.

crowls

Swag, If I don't start him then an upgrade from Bont or Cripps is required and I hate sideways trading quality mids who were always part of my Final Team.    In the past been burnt not starting GAZ or Pendles and then finding myself in middle of too many other issues to to be able to bring them in early.     Think a lot of people are underestimating their ability to bring him in Rd2/3.

Money Shot

Good side but agree with not starting Danger, I personally think he will drop down too about 600k for bye time.
