Jordan De Goey has been ruled out of Saturday’s blockbuster between Richmond and Collingwood.

Just not my year, can't take a trick.

Howe done for the day..

Reckon there has to be bone damage too. Was a gruesome hit. Will struggle to get up next week I think.

JUST IN: @CollingwoodFC has confirmed Matthew Scharenberg requires a third knee reconstruction.

Elliot also done a hammy but may come back this year.

Prestia out for a week with a fractured rib.

Bolton at least 2-3 weeks.

Stengle chance for VFL on the weekend.

Houli to come back through the VFL this week in to AFL next week. There's a chance he could come straight back to AFL.

Conca likely to come back via VFL either next week or the week after, then in to AFL. Great comeback.

Graham 1-2 weeks from a VFL/AFL return. Likely to get minutes in the VFL before coming back to AFL.

Drummond out for season with hamstring, they're looking at surgery options to reinforce that hamstring

Chol likely for VFL finals return, which I think is 3-4 weeks.

Markov is a slight chance for VFL/AFL at the pointy end of the season.

Cameron Joyce has confirmed Shaun Higgins will miss Saturday's match with the Brisbane Lions.

"Getting this procedure done now will enable him to finish off the year strongly."

Joyce is confident Higgins will be ready to go for Round 21.

North are going to underestimate Brisbane like Sydney did with GC

My thoughts as well. Seems they are gambling that him missing this week won't matter.

Hope it comes back to bite them.

Brisbane are starting to be really competitive, certainly a danger game.

I for one, couldn't be happier to see us finally getting things together! I knew we'd see some inevitable improvement now that we have an ACTUAL coach, as opposed to just going with whichever well-liked redheaded player retired most recently! I was sure Daniel Merrett was going to be next in line  ;D

We've got a decent core to build around now, and it finally seems like we've got players that actually want to be here in sunny Queensland.

Hopefully we can hang on to our local QLD products like Zorko, Beams, Keays, Allison, Andrews, Ballenden, Dawson, and Hipwood.

AND.... more importantly.... hopefully our promising young guys that played grew up interstate like Rayner, McCluggage, Berry, Cutler, Skinner, Bailey, McStay, Wooller, Witherden, etc will actually stick around if we're competitive.

Good coach=good culture. Fagan knows the team comes before the individual, wasn't prepared to take the petulance of Schache & let him go for nicks. The fact Rayner extended his deal tells me all's well at the Lions, 2020 the year they come of age. Terrific young list, they have recruited superbly.
