The Western Bulldogs look set to regain midfielder Jack Macrae for the round 17 clash with Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday.

Macrae hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring against the Power at Adelaide Oval in June, but according to Club Medical Services Manager Chris Bell, he’ll play if he gets through training this week.

“He completed a really good footy session on the weekend and he's due to return to full training this week,” Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au.

“If he ticks our final measures this week he'll return to playing this weekend.”

If he plays I may hold Fyfe one week longer and wait for a huge price drop and do the trade round 18 I reckon.....

Hope he does (RDT) .. expensive benchy  :D

Just heard simmo has done calf.
Source?
Text from a very good mate. Have asked for something concrete to confirm. In saying that he is on every tweet/news as it happens.
Or
He is trying to make me trade given same league. If that’s the case sorry and he will get a mouthful.

Simmo missed last week due to his calf, the question is severity, hopefully not season ending.

"He'll be a test at the end of the week and hopefully will be available"
Just tightness in last session before game. They gave him every chance to play but felt it was still too tight.

BRISBANE INJURY NEWS

Unfortunately, Matt Eagles will miss the rest of the 2018 AFL season due to an ongoing abdominal/groin injury, which will require surgery

Harris Andrews has been cleared to start training with the group after passing concussion protocols. He won't be named to play against Hawthorn this week.

Really feel for Matty as he was looking good hope he gets a contract extension.
Would like to see Andrews rested for rest of season as well as we have nothing to gain.

Yeah when I saw that Simmo was actually at the game and flew up I felt good knowing it must of been something minor

If they had of known earlier they wouldn't have even flown him up

Hopefully he returns Friday night

Carlton didn't really have an incentive to win last weekend, I'm hopeful it was just a little bit of general soreness that 90% of players experience week-to-week and play through. I reckon he'll be back out there racking up the pill on Friday, not a lot else to look forward to when the fixture is Carlton vs. St. Kilda  ::)

Do wee keep if low on trades RIP SC  this year 9th injury trade if I do. Never known so many injuries in any one year to prem players. (Macrae, Treloar, Fyfe and  Bont in the last 4 weeks alone).

Gigantor

I’m going to trade, 2-3 could turn into 4
Dogs arent playing finals so they won’t risk him at all
