I guess you could say that's a "double (w)hammy"
Does this make De Goey a viable option for M9/F7 now.

Bully

Well definitely dodged a bullet with Treloar, was so close to picking him.

I just traded him in
made him captain

and now this

Josh Money@JoshMoneyFOX
Massive blow @RalphyHeraldSun tells AFL Tonight that Adam Treloar is set to miss the rest of the year after injuring both his hamstrings against Carlton yesterday @FOXSportsNews
Oh no that's brutal.
This is why I should go with my gut every time.
I was tossing up Kelly vs Treloar.
Head said Treloar was "Safer" due to Kelly's injury concerns oh the irony.
Gut said Kelly and luckily this time I went with him.
Would be tearing my hair out if I'd chosen Treloar.
I feel your pain, I almost got Treloar instead.

Treloar said it's cramp

Dunno, still limping around although his instant reaction did seem cramp like

Buckley said in an interview last night it was cramp. Benched him the rest of the game so there would b no serious injury

:D

Just need him and Webster to get up, plus no surprises, and I’ll be fielding a full team of premos this week. Murphies law will no doubt raise its ugly head though.

Should have kept my flowering mouth shut!

Eddie McGuire on Footy Classified - Confirms Treloar double hammy injury, surgeon visit tomorrow (Tuesday). Should surgery be required, best case scenario 8-10 weeks.....

Double hammy, yikes! Never thought that could happen, that is some real bad luck there.....

Maguire said best case scenario is no surgery and back in 6-10 weeks. I’d be trading him out straight away.

Think he said best case scenario if there is surgery is 8-10, but likely more. If he doesn't need surgery will be much less. I might have misinterpreted though.

Couple of bits of information:

JUST IN: @HawthornFC has confirmed Shaun Burgoyne will miss four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Port Adelaide’s Tom Jonas walking laps and Chad Wingard training away from the main group. Neither considered in doubt for Saturday’s clash with Carlton

Collingwood midfielder Adam Treloar is likely to be sidelined until late August due to hamstring injuries he suffered in the final quarter of Sunday’s match against Carlton at the MCG.

After a consultation with a specialist today, it was confirmed that Treloar hurt both hamstrings in an awkward tumble; he has tendon damage to the hamstring in his left leg and a strain of the hamstring in his right.

I think it was you who suggested I go with my gut with Kelly vs Treloar, while recommending Treloar.
I'm happy to say I went with my gut. I felt something wasn't quite right with Treloar, but who would have thought he'd do both hammys?

Huttabito

It's why you always trust your gut ubeaut! You would have been annoyed at all those who said Treloar  ;)

Other bad news:

Young Bomber Mason Redman will spend an extended period on the sidelines after suffering an untimely ankle injury in Essendon’s strong victory over West Coast.

(It is a) similar timeframe to return as what Mitch Brown worked through last year, around the eight-week mark usually.

LOL unbelievable

The one time I go early on a guy and of course this happens!

He looks good out there too, so he would have been great cover

Hopefully this means Ridley gets back in, but flower me I'm stuffed lol
