This is the tweet on Grundy

New Pie injury headache: Brodie Grundy concedes he has shin soreness, frustrated he couldn’t have major impact v Tigers .. and can’t guarantee he will play this week ... hear from him exclusively @7NewsMelbourne very soon.

Also another pie injury

Collingwood: James Aish (Knee- PCL) expected to miss 6-8 weeks

Just when I was looking forward to the Martin Grundy contest on Sunday as well.

I can definitely see the Pies resting a few boys for the flight to Brisbane, just hope we don't take the game lightly. Need to get a win to get back on the winners list.

YES YES YES.  - no seriously i would rather he played and scored sub 80 for a couple of  weeks.  or 35 in q1 and then put on ice.

::)

Like many I've had an absolute shower start with injury. I'm rating so badly it is actually an advantage in that I'm going to throw Walters on to the pine and forget him until he comes good. Will downgrade 1, and upgrade 1 forward this week if I can manoeuvre it. Only have league wins left so patience may be a virtue.

;)
How do you manage that with the fwd rookies scoring shower/getting injured/dropped?
How many will u have to field?

If I do it, the plan is to bench Walters   1
Trade Bonner out for Duman    2
Trade Stephenson (Coll) out for T McLean
Forward line would then be Menegola,  McLean, D Smith, Billings, Fritsch, Guelfi,    // Garlett, Walters.

OR

Walters  for Sicily

OR

Stephenson  For  Spargo
Walters for T mcLean     and $245,000k cash

Looking at it in print like this I am seriously starting to consider option 3. Walters may be out 4 to 6 weeks but then has to find top form again so maybe it's bye bye.

;)

I know it hurts, but saying goodbye is the right thing to do.
