Only playing St.Kilda no need to rush Kelly.
Groin issues are lingering and can continue to flare up.
If I had him I'd have punted him last week.

Probably would have traded him if I didn't have Gaz & Lobb.

Add in Armitage and Ryan as well.

Yep, was a disaster last week.

Anyone know if J.Kelly got through training today?

Other news, Josh Kelly did not train today. Given he was required to get through training to line up would suggest he's another week away at least.

@GWSGIANTS
Cameron on Josh Kelly:

He’s had a really good three or four days, but do you give him more of a break instead of patching it up in Round 10, 12 and 14? That’s the dilemma we have.

We’ll make that decision later today. We’ve got some decisions to make week-by-week with him. He has some really good days, and there’s some days when it’s a bit sorer than others.

Pretty much rule Kelly out. Think I may just trade him as this problem can linger.

Ahh cheers Ricochet! :)

It keeps getting better for Kreuzer owners...

"Matthew Kreuzer not a certain starter this week for Blues. Still a bit sore, more likely to play than miss, but still in some doubt @7NewsMelbourne"

All Kreuzer owners should be switching to Grundy.

Does anyone know aht is fact and what is fiction with Gaz's injury?

I've heard "he's close", "it's worse than first thought", and everything in between.

Chris Scott said he's going along well and is relatively close

Soon Gaz is back and pumping 130s again.   what circumstances justify his selection?

other than towards the end of the season if i have the trades and a must win game he may be worth the risk.  else i prefer the stability of an oliver or pendlebury, or younger less injury prone mids

I started him, but I can't see myself bringing him back in even though it will be so tempting

Odds of him playing every game from then on have to be super low

Gaz's season last year was ruined by hamstring problems , already this year he has had 2 more hamstring injuries and you you are seriously thinking about bringing him back?  ha ha talk about being a glutton for punishment  ;D

easy to say shaker.   though as coaches see a series of 130 140 games,  the temptation to get a jump on the rest will be there,
