@TimGossage
Back to back major injuries for @WestCoastEagles with Daniel Venables set to spend up to 10 weeks on sidelines, joining Liam Ryan out of action long term.

The forward rookies have been poison, certainly not the year to go light. Guelfi an absolute must in my opinion.

Nek minute...dropped.  Wed game, will be an extended bench, can't justify bringing in a rook not on the bubble especially in this case.

Played a top game, won't be dropped.

Higlet back this week for Graham, will definitely get enough game time to make cash.

Even so, trading before the bubble is fraught with danger.

Gotta trust my eyes with Guelfi, the fact Essendon won adds to his JS. Need to make an early call here because I want to do an upgrade next week.

For those looking at Nichols in ruck.

Gold Coast: Tom Nicholls (Shoulder surgery) set to miss up to 16 weeks
And in other news
Gold Coast: Pearce Hanley (Shoulder) set to miss up to 12 weeks
Hawthorn have lost small forward duo Cyril Rioli (knee) and Paul Puopolo (hamstring) in a big blow for the club. Rioli is out for 5-6 weeks and Pops is our for 4-6 weeks.
Freo: Taberner injured his Ankle/Lower Leg against GWS on Saturday

With Lewis's injury will we finally see Hibberd released to do what he does best.

Not sure, he really needs to start taking kick-outs.

Yeah i think thats what ringo meant, Lewis has been taking the most kickouts for Melbourne so it is a good sign

Only for 1-2 weeks so it really only gives people maybe a bit more time to offload

Lobb and Kelly both named as Tests. Mmmmm who plays

And another one.

St. Kilda Koby Stevens is expected to be sidelined for several weeks after experiencing symptoms believed to be related to delayed onset concussion.

Lobb and Kelly both named as Tests. Mmmmm who plays

Gun midfielder Josh Kelly and ruckman Rory Lobb will have to get through Wednesday’s main training session to put their hands up to take on the Saints at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Kelly (groin soreness) and Lobb (bone bruising) both missed last weekend’s win over Fremantle in Canberra and GIANTS General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell said tomorrow’s training would go a long way to determining their selection.

“Josh is a week-by-week proposition at the moment, we’re being conservative with him,” Campbell said.

“He’s a chance to train tomorrow and then to play this weekend but we won’t know that until he turns up tomorrow, gets screened, trains and that sort of stuff so that will be a call later in the week.

“With Rory, I think he’ll train tomorrow. He pulled up reasonably well after training on the weekend, so he’ll look to train tomorrow and we’ll make a decision after that.”

I have both of these blokes, of course  ::)

By the sounds of that. Rory is more of a chance than Josh
