CAMERON GUTHRIE - Geelong has suffered another blow with the defender on the sidelines for up to 8 weeks following ankle surgery.

Does this increase the JS for Jack Henry?

I think there is more than enough room for Henry in Geelongs backline to be there for a while.

He is starting to look more like a rookie that will make a bit of cash

Jack Henry is a key defender isn't he? I think his JS is pretty solid, but doubt this affects him too much

Yeh, key defender - but given the state of heir injury list and time frames for some of them, they'll find use. Even as a possible 3rd tall intercepting defender type. Scott seems to be playing the kids too which is great.

Ricochet

Yep, reckon I'll go Henry over Crowden now

Out: Josh Kelly (injured)

Does anyone know his issue?

Nothing on Crows injury list so anybodys guess as to how bad it is but most are usually 2/3 weeks.

Anybody have details on Lachlan Murphys hamstring?
"Rookie forward Lachlan Murphy won’t play against the Magpies after experiencing some hamstring tightness at training on Thursday morning.

The Crows have opted to err on the side of caution, given the six-day break from last week’s game at Etihad Stadium and the demanding nature of Murphy’s role as a small pressure forward.

“Lachie misses out, unfortunately, but he’s got a bit of hamstring tightness,” Camporeale said.

“He’s had a pretty good pre-season and played a lot of footy for us early so it’s just a no-risk policy for him at the moment.”"

let's hope that no risk policy means they want him right back in there - list as 1 week on injury list
