If Danger is unlikely  for 2 or more weeks I'd be tempted to leave him out for a further 2 plus  to play in to top form plus see if his price dropped. Let's say for arguments sake the above encompassed 5 to 6 weeks. What if I were to replace him with a reasonably low to mid- pricer that I was confident of raising quite substantially in price in said period. The idea being Danger's price drops, replacement players price rises, replacement player must be capable of scoring well, 100 at least, and I keep the price difference so that Danger can be restored at any time. Thinking of players such as Coniglio, Rockliff, Redden etc. Already have Coniglio and JOM but can't settle on a player. Really need a score-burst type who will clean up early but won't have much chance of being a keeper or someone like Rocky that has a sheissen hausen bye. Looking to make $100,000 plus to substantiate a Danger trade. Not keen on carrying him for a week or so then have him come in off injury and end up watching his price drop, also weary of the Ablett factor. Does any of the above make sense or am I speaking out of my darkest personal orifice. Cheers guys. PLEASE suggest as many players you think could fill the above requirement.

Libba, Armitage and Parker are some that come to mind.

This is a head one to answer. Danger is $750k and even if he averages 110 over 4 weeks will drop only about $100k.  So you would still need to find about $100k to trade back in.
I am toying with 3 ideas at the moment for Danger as $750k is too much to sit on bench,
One is to start Selwood or Duncan and upgrade to Danger when he bottoms out as a straight trade.
Second is to start Dusty (I was only starting Danger and Titch) as he 99% will be in final team and working to upgrade others to Danger.
Third is one you alluded to but cooling is start Rocky and upgrade prior to Rd 10.

If he does not start R1 750K is to much for the bench so I will pick a gun mid with a lower B/E Cripps if he is not named R1 or Parker if he is a late out but the extra cash needs to sit in bank so Danger can be brought back in with one trade

Well  we will see how it pans out who gets the chop but first we have to wait till we find out what's happening with Danger

As a Carlton man I personally rate him slightly higher than Pickett but don't think either are best 22.
