HS reporting that Buddy is playing this week

“Lance is definitely trending in the right direction. He’s done some running.

“We’ve got our main training session on Wednesday night and the expectation is Lance will train and put his hand up to play,” said Swans football manager Tom Harley.

“Obviously if he’s fit and available, he will play, he’s just got to get through training.”

HS also saying that Kelly, Lids and Greene hopeful to all return next week

So glad Buddy is back. I traded him out but Heeney gets more of the ball when Buddy is playing - only this time I won't care if Buddy can't kick a goal when Heeney kicks to him. BAA. Score assist is nice though.

Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane has re-injured his troublesome foot and will be sidelined for at least a fortnight.

Sloane had scans and consulted a surgeon on Thursday following an innocuous incident during this week’s main training session.

The Crows vice-captain has suffered a mild strain to the Lisfranc ligament in his right foot, which is slightly different to the injury that has kept him sidelined recently.

Head of Football Brett Burton said advice from the specialist was to embark upon a period of rest.

“At this stage, Rory will miss the next two games before we reassess his situation,” Burton said.

“Surgery is not required but our medical advice suggests the best course of action is to rest and recover.

“Rory is one of the most professional and diligent players at the Club and will do all he can to return as quickly as possible.”

Certainly murdered my chance of staying undefeated in my league. His recent form and the fact that the Pies are playing Geelong made me start Naughton on field instead of Murray.

Literally the FIRST TIME I've put him on field all year! Sorry everyone. Must have been my bad juju  :(
