Soon Gaz is back and pumping 130s again.   what circumstances justify his selection?

other than towards the end of the season if i have the trades and a must win game he may be worth the risk.  else i prefer the stability of an oliver or pendlebury, or younger less injury prone mids

I started him, but I can't see myself bringing him back in even though it will be so tempting

Odds of him playing every game from then on have to be super low

Definitely one to look at for SC league finals
Gaz's season last year was ruined by hamstring problems , already this year he has had 2 more hamstring injuries and you you are seriously thinking about bringing him back?  ha ha talk about being a glutton for punishment  ;D
easy to say shaker.   though as coaches see a series of 130 140 games,  the temptation to get a jump on the rest will be there,
Not for me crowls not for me.

Confirmed that Buddy will miss. “SUPERSTAR forward Lance Franklin will miss Sydney's important clash with Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday with a bruised heel.” Courtesy of afl.com.au

What is going on this year? We’re not in round 6 yet. If Sicily gets suspended, which is very likely, and now Buddy, this could hurt a lot of teams.

SilverLion

Absolute carnage, the forward line this year has been a wreck.

I don't have Franklin or Venables, but I've got Sic, ZGL and Fritsch. Already traded Ryan. Didn't bring in English like my gut said to...

Was close to putting a bet on Sydney when Selwood was suspended. Glad I didn't now

SydneyRox

saying the surface in Perth was part to blame as well?? so both have been carrying for a couple of weeks you would think?

we have a 7 day break from Friday to the cats game and then another 7 until north at home, then a 6 day break for Friday night at the G against the Hawks.

Lets hope they are both back for that one!

RD,  let us know if you had Selwood as well mate.  Tough day dealing with Aged Care and Centrelink, I need a laugh even if it is at someone else's expense.

Sympathies Crowls know what that involves.  Been through it with Mother in Law and Centrelink took 3 months to advise the extra contribution required so we had 3 months of paying the maximum daily rate of $55

I have Buddy and Selwood so you can have your laugh.  Add Venables and fritsch aand my SC is likea melting chocolate bar this year,

Toga

Murmurings that the bruised heel that Buddy has is can be a symptom for developing hotspots in the foot. Could be an extended period out if so, but hopefully they're just being precautionary at the moment.

Appreciate the support Ringo.   Missus has early onset and not long into full time care.  Got one payment of her pension and then it was cut off.   3 x 3 hr visits with CL in past week trying to get it fixed.  If not fixed today they would not be able to reinstate and i would have to submit a new claim and start from scratch which normally has a 10 week waiting time to get sorted as well.    Oh by the way,  the job I started a week after terri went into care has taken me over the income threshold and when her pension is reinstated it will be 50 dollars per fortnight instead of the 1800 per fortnight it was before I took the job.  If I work or am paid overtime I will go over the threshold and her pension will cease.    Job is temporary and they are advertising it next week for a full time Supply Manager.    I am not sure I can discuss the situation with the Boss before the interviews.    My head is a bit foggy at the moment.
