Anyone know what happened to Zac Merrett? Was off a lot early then pulled the pin in about the 2nd quarter

Ah ok, i didn't watch, but pretty sure he was one of the players that caught it the other day

Half the Bombers team ended up with gastro, but concussion was why Zerrett didn't play most of the game. Same happened to Nank, concussed early and took no further part.

Unfortunately it looks like young midfielder Will Setterfield has torn his ACL in tonight’s practice match. He’ll have scans to confirm the injury tomorrow.

Bad luck for Will if ACL confirmed.

That's terrible news. I know it can happen any time but I hate when these things happen in practice matches

I would say that's the case. Nank  Astbury came off with head knocks as well but both looked fine. No point taking risks

He's best 22 no doubt about that, my concern would be whether we'll play him every week from Rd. 1, given his recent injur history. I would say it would be likely they would rest him at some stage before Rd. 10.
