Anyone going the double downgrade this week? Given there's Smith,Ridley and Rice all on the bubble?
What other options are coming up?
Austin is a KPP and pricey and Carlisle to return,Mihocek questionable JS,Heron and R.Smith I don't know much about.....
Really wish we had 3 trades, as I need them this week, whereas next week I won't need them as I'm targeting Macrae and Simmo as my next upgrades and they have the bye.

Double downgrades are generally unnecessary and you usually just rob yourself of an extra premium that week.

Round 9 was a grim week for bubble rookies with just Eagles, Keeffe, Crossley & Scheer to choose from. Many people prepared for this by doing a double downgrade on Spargo & Ronke in Round 8 and although they were rewarded with a big score from Ronke, it ended up working out just as well for people who got Spargo & a premium (assuming premium didn't bomb), Phillips early Round 9, Ridley early Round 10 and now Smith in Round 11.

Austin, Brodie, Giro, Ahern, Mihocek, Rourke Smith, Liam Ryan & Heron are all potential downgrade options over the next few weeks, so there is a fair crowd to choose from.

EDIT: I did not factor in the extra money made in the Ronke/Spargo double downgrade that would have allowed a double upgrade the week after, so overall people who made that decision made the better call. How likely is another Ronke performance though?

Then there's Kelly who has to go, plus Cole who's playing but has 44 BE.

Against all of this is Walters who has BE of 24, such good value at 420k. Plan was to turn Billings into him, not sure on that now.
Need 3 trades damn it.., not sure which way to go this week.

Agree. Wasn't great last game so you'd think he'd really need a couple of standout games in the VFL or an injury or two

Was going to get rice but with Mirra out thought fielding a fwd rookie over Ridley would be a better idea :(
