Is English a must?

I don't be shocked if he doesn't get dropped this week

Trengrove to miss the next 3 weeks with a cracked shoulder blade - could give him some longevity.

I think I'll give Hibberd one more week to perform. If it looks like his role doesn't improve and goes below 90 again I'll cut my losses and trade him to Shaw.

Naughton can sit in my back line bench not making me any cash until Coffield comes in.

Might give Brayshaw another chance too.

Definitely Hunter Clark > Liam Ryan at this stage for me. Possibly Giles-Langdon to Lachlan Fogarty or Waterman not sure yet tbh.

The rest of my side including rookies is fine.

Any advice?

Edit sorry guys wrong thread ignore

First downgrade option 1n 2 weeks at $138k or for those looking to get rid of expensive rookies.

The thing it comes down to for me is Fisher at F5 or Bonner at D4.

Playing 3 rookies down back seems better than playing 2 forward

yeah the def rookies are much better than the fwds

Jack Higgins and Matt Guilfi are close to getting a game so hope they can do well

hope i get both right

and if u have Caddy i think Higgins will be a must have

Am considering trading Langdon this week to a rookie that's already played 2 games. Thinking if Langdon misses a month, the rookie I bring in (if they play every week) will almost have peaked by then.

Can only bring in a mid or fwd rookie for him.

I already have:
And. Brayshaw, Banfield, Kelly, Garlett, Fritsch, Ryan, Holman.

Lowest BE options that have played 2 games that I don't have (BEs taken from footywire):
L. Fogarty (MID) (-60)
Waterman (FWD) (-56)
Marshall (FWD) (-38)
Gowers (FWD) (-37)
Barry (MID) (-37)
English (FWD/RUC) (-37)
Venables (FWD) (-23)
Stephenson (FWD/MID) (-20)

Don't think any of these guys really stand out to me. Which one do you guys think will make the most cash in the next month? (Factoring in JS).

I'd pick Venables

I've got him myself, and although I wouldn't want to field him if he can keep putting up 50+ a week he will keep making money, and his JS should be rock solid because I expect we are going to get as many games as possible into him this year

He's rated within the club, and was our 1st rounder so I think he is a good F8 option

Really like what I've seen from Waterman too, but with JJK returning soon there's a slight worry he might make way, although he should hold his spot based on form

Ringo

Josh kennedy is 2 weeks away so Waterman would be the preferred if retained.
Stehenson the other alternative but a bit dearer and has some Pies coming back with may effect JS.

I thought Venables looked really good in the Eagles' last game. Very active and lively and Shuey said he expects him to get more midfield time as the season progresses.

I don't have him in my team but I'm considering bringing him in this week. My feeling is he'll keep his spot and looks like he'll have a breakout game sooner rather than later in my opinion. I don't have Liam Ryan either and although he had a great game last weekend, I feel he'll be a little hot and cold from game to game. Do you guys think Ryan is a must-have?

Ryan is the sort of guy you'd probably want on your bench, and loophole if possible

I think he is a must this week and I'm bringing him in myself because if he can just put up back to 60+ scores from here he should make a quick 150k which is gold
