Have watched a fair bit of Fogarty in the juniors & I can comfortably say he's AFL ready. Not your typical razzle dazzle type but a workhorse who does everything well. He's also a category 1 AIS graduate so has had an impeccable build up.

ubeaut

Who do u prefer L.Ryan or Venables and why?
Can only pick one (and would rather only one so if one fires and I don't have I'll swap, and if both flop I only have to drop one)
Ryan has defensive question marks but huge talent, Venables labelled as next Shuey will run thru the mids - is pretty much what I've heard.

Torpedo10

Any ideas how long the Mirra injury might be for?

Barry V Davies? To start Stephensen and English? So many questions

RaisyDaisy

Both OConnor and Fogarty named

Seriously considering starting 5 mid rookies that are all cheap

Holman, Banfield, Kelly, Barry then one of Fogarty/OConnor

M11 almost always turns out to be a dud rookie who clogs the spot anyway, so if they get dropped then they can be used to loophole M8 each week which could gain extra points for sure

Fogarty probably the better scorer, but OÇonnor having DPP could come in handy later being able to link and switch around with Finlayson and eventually Coffield

O'Connor has made the 2 defensive premiums possible i reckon

How's O'Connor JS tho? And L.Fogarty for that matter. Danger and Scooter to come in.
Is it better than L.Murphy's?

The reality is they all have questionable JS

I'm picking Murphy over O'Connor fwiw, not great JS but more likely to hold his spot imo

True. I think I'll pick one of Murphy and O'Connor rather than both. Have to limit JS shaky rookies if possible. If the one I pick gets dropped make correction trade. If both get dropped and u have both it makes it harder.

Is Murphy from Adelaide worth a risk at D8? Or will he make way in a few weeks?

Likely out sooner rather than later but as this match showed, one injury happens and then you're in the clear for enough time to make money. So up to you!

I reckon he is a better shout of keeping his spot than Barry ... saying that I’m gonna wait and see on him and see if he plays round 3.

Currently have bonner and it could be my correction.

Don't stress about Bonner, he's well and truly in the 22 for Port. He will play even when Pittard is back, Broadbent is going to find it tough earning his spot back. The only reason I selected Barry was because the combination of Pittard being out for 5 weeks and the Port adelaide bench. They potentially have other players that could go out before Barry (Marshall AND Howard means they have got a heck of a lot of tall timber and if that doesn't function well this week, expect to see Marshall out and Gray in) so as long as Barry isn't the worst bloke on the park for Port, I think he can at least get a price rise or two. Then you just hope he snags a game here and there to make you money from M11

Well said spite!

Ok Tom, I'll be following your lead on this one.

Do we like Billy Gowers at all? Thinking of taking a punt on him over the Eagles lads...

shaker

Both Murphy and O'Connor are shaky with JS taking a punt on O'Connor
