Not sure where he stands at Freo but Crowden has looked impressive in JLT.

Starting to think the GnR approach might be back on the cards

D- Coffield, O'Shea, Naughton, Finlayson, Murray, Doedee, Keefe

M- Brayshaw, Brodie, Dow, LDU, Kelly, Holman, Banfield, Barry

F- Stephenson, Fogarty, Fritsch, Ryan, Garlett, Ryan

Reckon they will all play round 1. They won't all score well but there's room for corrections. The forwards aren't great but im alot more confident in the backs and mids than I was this time last week

Garrett didn't make JLT 2 so I doubt he plays

Venables, Ryan, Rioli and Waterman will all score relatively poor so can only bench them

GnR can certainly work down back but I still think we'll need a Bundy type at F5 and guys like Libba, Conigs etc are near locks too

I hate starting expensive rookies but I'll probably have to start Brayshaw just to firm up M7/8 as there won't be many cheap options it seems good enough to field

Garlett didn't play because he injured his shoulder. Lamb and Pickett played well enough to get the spot ahead of him anyway.

Garlett only didn't play because of his shoulder but their injury report was positive he'd be back for round 1. Weather he gets a game or not we will wait and see but he was very good before he hurt it and the Blues love him.

Bundy only in my side because of the lack of forward rookies but I'm far from convinced on him.

Still a couple of question marks and the teams being named will be the ultimate decider but I don't mind this crop. Best defence options we've had in years and live the look of some of the mids (Brayshaw, Brodie, Kelly, Holman in particular)
