Any intel on Banfield? Still on the freo rookie list but scored exceptionally well (96) from only 39% game time today.

I saw that tog stat too but surely that isn't right? That's incredible scoring if it is.

I dont know anything about him but the rookie list doesn't matter anymore as players can now play without needing to be elevated iirc

The TOG% is correct, and I'm pretty sure the elevation matter is correct too.

Yep. The removal of the elevation from rookie list to senior list to be able to play seniors was in the CBA bargaining agreement between the AFLPA and the AFL

dont they have two rookie lists 'A & B'.
A listed rookies are part of the main list and don't need elevation.
B listed rookies are international/academy rookies.

Correct. Banfield is good to go.

What's the loophole stuff I keep hearing about West Coast's ruckman Olango? Something about the Eagles playing a lot of games on a Sunday?

He will be the player you bring on and give the C when your VC go large
Lots of Sunday games, almost zero chance of getting a game, perfect loophole donut

Know it is JLT but if named Rd 1 Dom Barry is locked in mid rookies and Tom Doedee is locked in defence.

Barry, Doedee, Banfield, Fritsch the standout rookies. A few pretty underwhelming ones though.
Had Venables and Morgan in my side prior to this weekend so hopefully they get another go at it in their 2nd game

5 expensive rooks named for Blues vs Saints that most won't jump aboard, but anyway - Coffield Clark Marshall Dow O'brien.

EDIT; I missed Pickett named aswell.

I think so, got the feeling he'll be the pick of all rookies.

Where's the must-have rookie of the year, Cam O'Shea?  ::)
