Goodwin stopped short of guaranteeing first-year forward Bayley Fritsch a spot in the Demons' first game, but expected the 21-year-old to have an impact at senior level across the season. The former Casey Demon has caught the eye in the past two weeks.

"He's given himself every possibility. It's tight for selection, but we picked him at pick 31 and we think he's got enormous upside and talent. He reads the game incredibly well and he's got great fundamentals to go with it. He's slotted into our program really well," Goodwin said.

Bully

No Fritsch & I play Cyril at F5 & Bundy at F6.

Any Giants supporters give an opinion on Zac Giles-Langdon and whether he is likely to start Rd 1. Will not outstanding would be serviceable if he gets a start,

Media articles have been pretty consistent with saying he is a real chance to line up Round 1

Just add him to the list of dubious forward rookies that can fill one of your two bench spots

I'd prefer to take Langdon over Ryan & Rioli from WCE assuming all three are named.

Mat0369

There is also the dude from Geelong, I think Miers is his name. They were talking him up in the 15 minutes I paid attention in that game and anyone is better than Parsons.

Ryan will suck but they seem to love him so will do at F8 mainly because of JS. And he probably could do a Butler and jag the occasional good score in time. F7 still up for grabs.

I like Miers but think he will end up in the VFL mainly. Gregson and McCarthy could also take that spot.

Gryan Miers could be sneaky chance at playing round 1. 83% TOG so far in JLT2. Could be in front of Gregson/McCarthy/Parfitt.

But yeah, wouldn't lock him in just yet.

Pendles on Murray

“I can’t speak for Bucks, but I’d assume he’d play Round 1, given how well he played in the JLT”

Also went on to say

“Jaidyn Stephenson has played both practice games, he’s looked really good, Brodie Mihocek’s another one.

“If the opportunity comes and it is those guys, I don’t think they will be out of place with how they’ve trained al summer and how they’ve performed.”

Cheers Gigantor. Here's hoping. There is at least 1 small forward spot at GWS with no Devon or Stevie J. It appeared between him & Tiziani from a fantasy rookie perspective & they both copped injuries. Sounds Like Zac has recovered well enough to be considered for Round 1.

Still listed as 'injured' ... Any idea why?
