@Fantasy Freako
Jeremy Finlayson taking kick-ins for the Giants. Interesting rookie prospect with Williams injured and Wilson gone. #SuperCoach #AFLFantasy

@Glenn McFarlane‏
Half-time thoughts from @CollingwoodFC intra-club. Sam Murray looking good across half-back, with nice left foot and run and carry. Sam McLarty doing some nice things. Goldsack good in attack. Aish going OK forward; Smith in attack. De Goey's attack on the ball strong.

Can't say I had thought about Finlayson at all. Could be another option
Had him for aaages, then took him out the other day cause I hadn't heard anything about him and figured he wasn't impressing enough :P
How much is this Finlayson you talk about ?

Cheers well I have to say I have not seen or heard much about him but any rookie is a good rookie if they play R1

Ringo

Not actually a rookie at $266k but Jack Bowes was one of the stand outs in the Suns intraclub trial. Could be handy with Birchall doubtful.  hard to really get a realistic view though as trial was played in attrocious conditions.

Other reports from the trial:
Hard to judge in these conditions, but Sexton has kicked 3 and been lively. Weller has been clean.

Just starting third term at a very wet @GoldCoastSUNS intraclub. May, Lynch, Hanley and Thompson getting first use of the hot water with an early mark.

Bayley Fritsch will probably be in most teams come round 1. Melbourne looked to have earmarked him to play from media comments in previous weeks and did his claims no harm kicking 3 goals for the dees in the JLT match v North today

Yep certainly looks that way. Hopefully puts in another decent JLT game

Hopefully Mitch Hibberd can have a better one next up. He should get games but scoring is an issue atm

Fritsch been warming F6 for a little while now

As for Hibberd, even if he does get named Round 1 I don't think I would touch him because like you say scoring is an issue for him

Yeah, better to stack the back line now, all the 160k rookies look well overvalued. Will be trying hard to avoid paying anything over 123k.

Morris with the ACL injury means Naughton is a near certainty to line up in round 1.

Yep, lock him in. Has already played senior footy at WAFL level and handled himself very well with an average of 13.8 disposals and 6.8 marks per game. Don't think a 65 average is beyond him.

Could come in very handy

Ringo

We maybe getting the defensive rookies we need with Gartwaite looking impressive this afternoon as well.

Toga

Would be very surprised if Garthwaite played consistently this year. Looked reasonable yesterday but Tigers' defence was fairly settled last year.

Any intel on Banfield? Still on the freo rookie list but scored exceptionally well (96) from only 39% game time today.

Looked really good, might get games ahead of Brayshaw & Cerra. I've just plonked him on my bench.
