Saints confirm Bailey Rice will debut

+ Mitch Lewis to debut for Hawks

Stay away. Can’t trust Clarkson. He has burnt me two years in a row, dropping rookies who seem to be going well.

Dazzalenko

he's probably coming in for O'Brien who's been in pretty ordinary form, his only other competition would be Shoenmakers or Cegs when he's AFL ready

I feel I may have stuffed up not getting on another rookie last week.
I didn't think any had decent JS, plus I was determined to make my first upgrade, wayyyy overdue after dealing with injuries.
I did get Spargo, but knowing my luck he'll be dropped for Viney tomorrow.

Why? Just get Phillips this week, easy
I'm wondering where all the confidence in Phillips is coming from. Yes he had a good game. But it's one game. He could play a stinker this week and be straight out again for someone like Freeman or Rice.
Going early on rookies is always risky.
And he plays for Stink Kilda.
What am I missing?

Big numbers in twos, backed it up with 24d at 77%eff i think? 5 tackles, looked smooth, Saints season gone gotta play the kids. Freeman will get a game soon too but Phillips will hold his spot.

For various reasons I have to bring in a def rookie this week. At this stage it's between Cumming and Eagles - the latter looks okay and seems safe, plus is on the bubble. I didn't see Cumming, but heard he's okay, though he's only 1 game in.

Murphy perhaps another option. Appreciate any insight!

I'd probably go Keeffe ahead of all of those guys, but would ideally wait until next week for Cumming.

How confident are u that Murphy keeps his spot? Only getting a game due to injuries. Will need at least another 3-4 games to make cash the way he scores.

Played really well after his debut and imo can hold down a spot with his fwd pressure, at least for a few weeks

Averaging something like 33 touches and 9 tackles a game or something I heard today, pretty insane numbers.
