Jofra, D'Arcy, Glenn, Dan, Cam or Brendon, if one of you feel the need to not play this round, take the game off please.
Thanks Glenn, really appreciate your kindness :)

So I screwed up my C this week,

VC is on Cooper so should I stick with him and hope he doesn't fall over again  ;D or take the punt on Agar/Short/Archer

Thoughts?
I hope you left it! :-\

Haha of course not, all the luck went to you this week  ::)

Went Agar lol

Well, things worked out alright in the end! 872 all out which seems like a very very nice score this round :D

Me too, Cooper into Agar, unbelievable  ::)

Going to be an interesting week for the Scorchers, the loss of Agar is massive.

Mitch Marsh is available, but going in with Voges as our only spin option doesn't seem likely. But on the other hand I'm not sure they will throw the kid Haydan Morton into the deep end during finals plus it would weaken our batting a fair bit.
My call is MMarsh in for Agar and we'll just find a way to win without spin :)  (or Langer will work his magic and Agar will still play  :P)

As far as fantasy goes some tough choices to make around loop holing and VC picks as these could be the difference as we will all have very similar teams I think

Atm I'm going Christian and Turner as loop hole options and MMarsh as VC

Keeper is a tough position, if you loophole guys like McDermott or Wade and they fail your only option is Ludeman  :(

Wow, I put my team together (without seeing this post) and I settled on looping in Turner and Christian with MMarsh VC. Only trouble I see is what if both fail but Marsh works, how do we loop in? So a the moment I'm rolling with Wade and Carey as keepers, so Carey can be the C and I just back Wade in.

Cooper, Harris, Bancroft, MMarsh [vc], Sutherland (Turner, Harvey)
Carey (Wade)
Bravo, Neser, J.Richardson, Pollard, Cormack (Christian, Crone)

My first draft, guys in red shouldn't play, all are Gades or Strikers so won't be locked out. Even with Carey I have $285k left over so swapping two of them out won't have $$ problems (I have $1,260,400 to spend all up). I'm clearly banking on Scorchers/Gades to get wins haha

Menzel Washington

Anyone considering Tim Paine? I read that he is available to play and without Short in the team will probably open...

Definitely worth a look as a POD as many may not be aware he is available. Might be a loophole candidate.

Skyarm

Does anyone know if Shaun Marsh will be available for the Scorchers? He was in pretty good form for Australia and averages 50 throughout his BBL career so would be a solid POD if he plays.

Yeah that really surprised me, reckon they wrote done the wrong Richardson haha
Nope because if they wrote down the other Richardson, then Renegades would be better off and Scorchers worse off, which won't go down well with Justin Langer who is the sole national team selector when the BBL is on.

Have some chips with your salt :P

Voges said on the radio on Aussie Day that if the game against the Strikers was a final SMarsh would have played. Should definitely get up

Ok with this I think I have settled on my team.

Archer Bravo Bancroft Richardson Sutherland (SMarsh Drew)
Carey (Paine)
MMarsh Rashid Tremain Johnson Grant (Christian Cormack)

180k remaining and upgrades will be Cooper Ludeman and Neser should any of my loopholes fail.
Tempted by the idea of Tremain > Turner and loopholing Turner and playing Marsh but I feel that 4 scorchers batters is excessive even if one is loopholed.
